Local coffee joint. I loved the atmosphere, service was friendly. Their focus is coffee beans, they roast their own, make fresh waffles and bread but there is somewhat limited choices or protein breakfast and no fresh cut avocado (only processed one). They serve all food in takeout containers which kind of takes away from culinary experience. I had a GOAT toast and it was ok, coffee was great. Seating both outside and inside. Would return for coffee but not for breakfast

Waited literally 45 mins for one coffee and a sandwhich. Only 5 people in there ordering when I went. Staff needs training they all looked lost and

I'm so disappointed too, I got a heart to heart burrito and a coffee, it was lukewarmThe burrito is disgusting, the potatos inside are super greasy in cheap oil and Im pretty sure they are old, and they fill it up with something cheap mayonnaise based sauce , it's awful and leaves a bad taste in my mouth

We were excited to try a new little coffee roaster in our area, but unfortunately won't be back. The coffee was underwhelming, and the food was too expensive for what you get and not good. I got the waffle with Brie and fig and received a greasy waffle with wayyyy too much super sweet Welches strawberry jelly and three slices of barely melted brie on top. Unfortunately it was just very underwhelming at that price point.

Turned out to be the best spot for the rainy weather . The loaf bread looked little burnt but tasted good .

Came in for some coffee (drip) and they didn't have sugar, not sweetener or anything. The gal asked me twice if I wanted honey in my coffee!Who's going to tell her??

The food is great I will give it that, but it took almost an hour for me and the two other people I was with to get drinks and food and that we didn’t even get. People that had just showed up were getting their food almost immediately. I am very upset with this situation and we had asked them multiple times about the food and they brushed off. After we had actually got the service to try to sort out the issue we just got a refund, unfortunately this has happened a few more times prior to this one not during the same timeframe.

OMG YES! This place has me hooked! I'm a local in the area and I want to come here almost every day. Their "San Diegan Breakfast Burrito" is my favorite and I tried a small "OG Kaveman Coffee" today and I wish I would have got a large! It definitely gave me instant energy! Thank you everyone who works here!

Food and coffee is decent, but prices are absolutely insane. I used to come here several times a week on the way to work, but ever since the pandemic it's just not with it anymore. I love the Dangerous Kraveman but they raised the price to $9 for a single coffee. I just make it myself at home in a blender for 25 cents worth of ingredients now. I do miss chatting with the staff.

The banana kraveman is probably the best coffee I have ever had. It’s their regular coffee that has butter, honey, coconut oil and cream plus a little banana pulp, incredible.

Was visiting from out of town and fell upon this gemLocated right next to the hotel. Seems to be somewhat new but it was delicious!! I ordered the San Diegan with turkey instead of chorizo and it was phenomenal. The samdwich is served on a croissant load type (not a croissant). Highly recommend you check this place out!

Coffee is just ok. I ordered a nitro cold brew with half and half, and the grilled cheese and added pastrami. Waited long to order even after trining they bell, questions about food and drink weren’t really welcomed. My sandwich tasted burnt and it was extremely dry. Parking situation is not the best, so I parked across the street. Employees need to be FRIENDLY, and work on the customer service.PS. It WAS not very busy. 0 excuse.
