Burgers and Sunday Brunch are absolutely what you should go here for! Longhorn is a great local restaurant. The small kitchen turns out some of the most amazing quality bar food. They have a fantastic rotating craft beer selection. Sit at the bar and make friends with Matty - he's the best!

This place is great. I'm glad I ran into it during my travels to San Diego. Nice cowboy style theme with a history glimce of John Wayne amongst other celebs. The burger and cheese fries were fantastic, not to mention the onion rings, which were cooked just right. The service was quick, and the server, well, she was fantastic, with great customer service. I'm definitely going back when I return to San Diego.

The Chicken Poblano soup was absolutely delicious! Not sure if it is house made or not, but it sure tasted like it was!

We were in the neighborhood visiting a friend in Kaiser Zion hospital and this place was handy. My hubby had been here a few times years ago with a friend and he recommended it. What a find! This is a great place if you're looking for a bar where the old folks go. The thing is that the old folks know good food and this is it, along with good beer! It was a Taco Tuesday night and they were having a deal which I couldn't refuse. Those with a side salad and a hazy IPA did the trick. Delicious! The hubby had the burger and fries and they were awesome. Plus there's tvs all over the walls and John Wayne memorabilia EVERYWHERE. Seriously.

Eden was an incredible waiter who was extremely attentive to our large group and a joy to be around!

Long time tavern in a strip mall. Maddy is behind the bar some days and is a stand up individual. Taco Tuesday Specials.

This place has the nicest people working, the best clients, and the tastiest food I've found in a long time. Like "Cheers" on TV, this place is a home, not just some random bar and restaurant.

Our son took us to LongHorns for lunch and a brewski. What a great place! The employees were super friendly, and the food was excellent! I will definitely return!

I've lived in Del Cerro for 7 years and have never tried longhorn. We usually hit Dels with the family or when I want a burger I'll grab Dukes or Shake Shack. Had a Friday off and really wanted to try a local solid burger, of course this place came to mind. I'll tell you right now the burger is a disappointing average burger. It's comparable to foster's freeze up the road or dairy queen. This is no Rocky's, this is no Friendly, it's not comparable. There is zero salt or seasoning on the burger. I will say the cheese was well melted and the presentation was nice but I won't come back here for a burger. I will come back for a beer though and maybe an appetizer. The bartender was a super friendly gentleman and there were a lot of regulars hanging out, it's a good spot. Just don't come here expecting a ballin burger.

I love this joint. I mean, how can you not? Oh, you don't? Well, screw you! More room, more burgers, more drinks, and more fun for me and my friends. You go enjoy Applebee's, loser. Seriously though, I had been to the Longhorn several times over the years with one particular friend who moved to Kansas a few years ago and since then I had not returned until recently. That is until a few months ago and I've now been back several times since. I knew something felt different upon my long awaited return, for the better, and after asking a handful of questions it was revealed that the ownership has changed. As I dug in a bit more with my probing I realized that the new owner is someone I'm well aware of and the perfect guy to grab a place like this and make it even better seemingly without changing a damn thing. It's about the burgers here. You really can't go wrong with any of them and while not a San Diego bargain burger by any means but I also think that prices build a certain caliber of customer and the Longhorn has nailed the perfect type of customer. People who love dive bars but with a few bucks in their pocket and a taste for something a bit more elevated than the place down the block with sticky floors, rude bartenders, and dirty bathrooms. You'll find none of that here. What you are sure to find here is a good time, and tasty burger.

The food is always so good. Some of the best burgers in town. Bar prices are very competitive. Friendly staff with excellent service.
