Second time at Lost Cause and I absolutely love this little gem of a place. I came last year… so this time when I tried the flight it was a lot of different meads, pretty fun. Also I really like the graphics on all their bottles and merch. Random but true. We were served by Thalia and she was attentive and knowledgeable.

We had our engagement party on the back patio and it was perfect! The place is super cute, and everyone kept saying how much they loved the mead. The team running it was fantastic; they set everything up, kept track of our tab, and even moved some big crates around to make the space look nicer, which was so thoughtful considering it’s their busy season for harvesting grapes. They also gave us a dedicated person to help out during the party, which made the whole day stress-free. Pizza Cassette handled the food separately, and the pizzas were incredible. They brought them out gradually through the evening so there was always something hot and fresh to enjoy. Couldn’t have asked for a better spot to celebrate!

Nice location, part of The Garten. Pricey meads were okay, but nothing exciting. Wouldn't recommend for mead enthusiasts. No samples possible, sales first.. 24$ for a flight

all of the mead was amazing! the lightness and crispness of the sparkling... the richness and layers of flavor to the still meads. anything with the black currants and/or chicory honey... I would love closer, but I'd go broke!

Maybe I came at the wrong time. Their selection on mead for on site and to-go was average. I usually love mead. Based on the hype I came in and I was able to try a few onsite, which honestly they were ok just nothing outstanding. Staff friendliness felt mundane. For how empty the place was I felt like service speed was slow. Overall I wanted to love this place it just didn’t live up to the hype especially when it to flavor of their mead.

Really, really good mead. Their curated flight has a nice mixture of traditional-ish meads and truly experimental ones, but all of them were unique and tasty. This place epitomizes the term “craft meadery.”
