My food was fantastic of great quality 10 out of 10 would recommend how the service did it for me. With a table for 2 and 2 meals ordered and a flight mimosas heheee our bill came out to 140 which is no problem at all the food was worth the price. We decided to tip our server 10 as we were leaving our server stop us at the door and asked “was my service not good” i told him it was okay he said “because you tipped me 10 on a 140 bill” i was completely shocked by his ungratefulness that I didn't even respond be mindful that we didn't have any folks or spoons we had to ask another server to bring us some and he wasn't the person to bring out our food. Tipping is not an obligation and hes allowed to his opinions but to be so entitled to someone else hard earned money when they have already been so kind to even tip it's just flat out disrespectful I can't remember his name but he is a brown skin African American male and for his behavior I will never spend my money here again.

When I visit my grandaughter KIJANE. We always have dinner at Louisiana Purchase restaurant ? I always get cat fish and macaroni and cheese and a vegetable. My grandaughter introduce me to the owner and he was very kind and professional. I recommended my friend's to visit the Louisiana Purchase restaurant. Yummy ? ?

I would have said that this gem is the best kept secret in San Diego but apparently it was only a secret to me. Culinary surprises await you at LP. DO NOT MISS the alligator cheesecake. Gumbo is savory deliciousness. Service was SO friendly and helpful! Free samples of cocktails at the bar- coconut margs are way too easy to drink…I will be back and soon!!
We absolutely love this place. All the food we’ve tried has been incredible and keeps us coming back. They always play great music, and our server tonight, Naomi, really elevated our experience with her friendly and attentive care. I’d definitely recommend giving this place a try!

Love the concept but didn't love the food. Lemon pepper wet wings were saucy but also too salty. Couldn't taste the cajun seasoning on the fries at all and the brussel sprouts had no seasoning either - just oil. Wouldn't recommend any of those dishes. Mango margarita was really good, mango flavor wasn't too overpowering or sweet.

All was great until a server who wasn't even our server told us we overstayed our welcome. For all the money we spent we had no idea there was a time limit. He could have invited us to the bar or another location, but that's not how you treat customers. I didn't see a limit on open table or the website and we were not told upon being seated.

Very nice and quaint spot to get tasty New Orleans styled cajun cuisine. The blackened catfish that I had was cooked and seasoned to perfection. The lemon pepper catfish was also very good! I also had the greens, which were tender and tasty as well. Their mango margarita......superb!
