Highly underrated, genuinely authentic and delicious Italian food with a chill, lowkey atmosphere. Our waitress Amanda was amiable and knowledgeable. Our food portions were generous and delicious. We had the arancini (fried rice and mozzarella balls), lobster spicy vodka sauce pizza, and vodka sauce with rigatoni and meatballs. The meatballs are HUGE and are about the size of a baby’s fist. Everything was well-cooked and thoroughly pleased our taste buds. Excellent Italian restaurant in San Diego. Easily just became one of my top three Italian spots. Bottom line: Come here if you want excellent Italian food paired with top shelf customer service.

service is good, environment is good, but the food is 1/1000000, go somewhere else if you want some real Italian chef to cook you some real Italian food

First time in and not sure I’d come back. Everything except for the food was great. Good wasn’t bad but it also wasn’t noteworthy. Kinda blah. I’d recommend a new chef or menu.

If I could give zero stars I would. First, it was my birthday celebration and they were told this when the reservation was made and unlike many places they made no acknowledgment of it, not even a dessert. The food was horrible. The $50 steak had no flavor whatsoever. I have had better steak at Sizzlers and that is the truth. The steak comes with potatoes which were dry as the desert and void of any flavor at all. The party I was with said the appetizers were “just ok” but the calimari was really bad. One person in my party is of Italian descent and for him to say the Italian food was bad sealed it for me. The server was nice but seemed hurried as if she didn’t have time for us and they weren’t very crowded. One guy addressed our table as “gentleman” as if there was no lady at the table. Bad vibes all around. Bad food, bad vibes, way over priced. NEVER going back.***FOLLOW-UP 4/14/24***I had been in contact with the owner who was very concerned about the experience we had at his restaurant and went above and beyond to make things right. I really had not expected any contact or follow up but Mr. Hunan was very gracious. I really appreciate business owners who take the initiative to engage with customers and solve their issues.

If you know Invica, the General Manager and the treasure of Macedonia, you're lucky! Being around him is always nice because he's friendly and charming. I'll be honest, I don't know much about real Italian food, and the menu scared me a bit. But I asked our server, Amanda, to help me choose since I only knew one Italian dish I liked, Chicken Cacciatore. She suggested something similar at Lucrenzia, and it was really good! It tasted authentic and the ingredients were top-notch. I enjoyed every bit of it and can't wait to go back!

Came here to try it out. Was blown away by the atmosphere and vibe of the restaurant. The service was fantastic. Would recommend the veal and Chianti with Arancini to start. If you want good service, ask for Diana as well!

They really have to work on their food. I ordered a pizza and it definitely was burnt. I sent it back and ordered something else.

Ambiance is swanky Miami Beach Italian. There is a spicy watermelon cocktail you will have to try and it is absolutely perfect (I had two.) pepperoni pizza with bell pepper to balance out the flavor as suggested by Andrew was super good- probably the best pizza in San Diego, puffy and crusty. Branzino fish was also very good flaky and buttery. Sformatino Di Salsa Al Caramello was a dessert you have to try-a soufflé filled with caramel that blew us away.
