Stopped here on our ocean walk. The food and service were excellent. And the prices aren't bad either. We will definitely come here again.

Welcomed upon entering and seated promptly. Order was taken quickly and we waited patiently. It appears something went wrong in communication to the kitchen as two of us obtained our meals while the other two did not. Wait staff was prompt in letting us know it would be out in five minutes but it took at least 10. When the other two meals were brought out a second slice was given to a person who had already been served her slice. Slices were loaded with lots of ingredients and the sauce and crust was tasty. The sandwich was huge and filling. I remain with a five even though of the mix up with the kitchen and order. No one needs to suffer or be critical about an order misplaced by accident. Stuff happens. Luigis is a great place to relax, have a birthday party and lounge with friends and relatives.

It is attractive to read on the menu that the pizza crust (which is totally not a crust) are homemade but any frozen pizza from any supermarket will taste better, maybe they should buy theirs to serve better quality pizzas.
Their « crust » is just tasteless white bread, really heavy on the stomach, totally not airy and light as a pizza is supposed to be.

I love this location! They have happy hour, they have really good food. They make a lot of their sauces from scratch. And it's good pizza and good eating by the beach. They are more expensive but these days what is an expensive. For the location you can't get beat and once again food is delicious

Pizza was decent. Not one of the best I've had, but not the worst either. It would have been better if had more sauce, it was pretty dry. We were impressed with the size of the giant slice, it was huge! Service was amazing!

There's no way they want $9 for a slice of pizza ?? 👀🥴
The food was amazing and the service matched! We ordered the Portuguese Hawaiian with Alfredo sauce and it was delectable. Our server was attentive, friendly, and awesome. The icing on the cake was being able to watch the Cowboys lose while we ate 😂 can't wait to come back to San Diego to eat here again.

Best NY style pizza in the West by far. Whenever my family and I are in San Diego, I make it a point to stop and get a slice.

This joint was right around the corner from our Air BnB. Pizza was fantastic , so was the chicken Cesar wrap. Food is not cheap but you get your money's worth. I couldn't finish the wrap in one sitting! Definitely recommend
