Luna Grill Mission Valley

My recent dining experience at Luna Grill was exceptional, largely due to the outstanding service and delicious food. Avalon, our server, was fantastic—attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely welcoming. Her service was prompt and professional, making our meal even more enjoyable.
I ordered the Greek salad with a chicken kabob, a dish I highly recommend. The salad was remarkably fresh, with crisp greens and a perfect balance of feta cheese and Kalamata olives. The chicken kabob itself was cooked to perfection—tender, juicy, and expertly seasoned. Paired with the garlic feta sauce, it was an absolutely perfect combination.
This visit was a reminder of why Luna Grill is a standout choice for Mediterranean cuisine. The combination of excellent service from Avalon and the superb quality of the food made for a truly memorable meal.

Wished we lived closer to Luna Grill.
The food is fresh and prepared perfectly. The employees are helpful with menu selections.
This was the first time trying the baklava. OMG! Fantastic! Such a treat.

It can get a little loud with the music mixed with customers talking loud.
There is outside patio seating, which is nice.

Truly, it is a great place for families, too.

I work close by and get food here one day a week every week and I have never had a bad experience. The food as always comes quick, hot, and tasty. Also the staff are so nice! They quickly realized I am a regular and they always great me and remember my order. Truly 10/10 service.

I love Luna Grill! I frequently visit the Mission Valley location. Great food, greater service! Saul was the team member that took my order and he was amazing! Quick service and greeting as I walked in!

Loved the food until I realized they cook with Canola oil, the marinades are made with Canola oil, and the dressings are an olive/canola oil mix. I support health, so I simply cannot support that.

Affordable, fresh, great tasting food from a family owned spot. Usually a line but it moves fast and it’s worth it.

My order was plated great. I ordered a family meal, the meat was dried out unable to consume and the Tazaki sauce was empty. This was disappointing because we love Luna Grill.

cashless business....I guess I will spend my $$ somewhere else

Food was good. However, the cashiers were busy cleaning up for the night vs taking care of customers. It wasn’t late, either. It was around 7:30 or 7:45 on a Sunday. The cleaners they use are very strong. Very pinesol or something like that. Glad I got food to go because I wouldn’t want to have smelled the cleaners during dinner. Dining room had zero vibe.

Luna grill was a refreshing stop and a nice change to avoid the classic fast food joint. Their service was nice and friendly, the dining room was clean and the bathrooms well maintained! Now the food was delicious! The shrimp weren't over cooked and well seasoned. The chicken Gyro with the tzadziki sauce was delicious and the chicken was well cooked and juicy. It's a great stop to dine in or enjoy your meal in the beautiful san diego weather on their outdoor patio. Take out is also available, but most of all Luna grill is a definite stop to have a delicious Greek meal!
