Delicious Italian dinner at Lupi in La Jolla! Beautiful rustic restaurant in a really beautiful part of the city. The food was great, we had the beef carpaccio, veal ossobucco, and squid ink pasta. Nice wine selection, we enjoyed the Vermentino. Excellent, friendly, and accommodating service. Love that they’re dog friendly. Recommend!

This is the best pasta in the US. This Italian restaurant makes the best quality pasta and fresh sauces I've eaten outside of Italy. The staff is classic Italian and so nice, and the gnocchi al pomodoro fresco is out of this world.

If you don't like gnocchi, just get the pomodoro fresco on any pasta of your choosing.

It's also really nice to sit outside if you want. They have a great patio

Fantastic food, incredibly kind staff and the perfect atmosphere for us to relax with our two dogs. They went the extra mile to make sure my husband and I enjoyed our evening from suggesting multiple kinds of wine, bringing out a special birthday dessert (which usually doesn’t happen for an adult), and treating our two dogs like special guests. 10/10 will be going back.
