Stopped here for lunch with friends after a motorcycle ride. I got the Matcha Me boba, which was good. One of my friends got Popcorn Chicken, which was really good with the sauce. The place is small with a few tables with chairs, but feels like you should grab and go. The decorations are fun. There is a single bathroom here for customers. The place looks clean overall. It's good, but not a favorite for me.

Iâve been to this place at least 8-10 times. The first 2 times the boba was great, all the times since then they have given me boba which is either hard or has ZERO flavor. Iâm not sure what happened but it seems that itâs gone downhill since. boba now tastes like cardboard. On another note, all the employees are great and very friendly. Some of the other things on their menu is good. (iâm also ordering their sweet honey boba)

Local Luxe Boba & Tea â Serra Mesa We checked out Local Luxe Boba & Tea in Serra Mesa last night around 11:30pm, and to our surprise, the place was still pretty busy â which says a lot about how popular it is, even late at night. One of the best things about this spot is their hours: open daily from 12pm to 12am, making it super convenient for just about everyone.
The service was excellent â quick & friendly. Eric helped us out and made the experience even better with his welcoming attitude and smile. One thing to remember every thing is made to order and so if there are a lot of orders ahead of you it might take a little longer-
Theyâve got a wide selection of drinks and some snacks that hit the spot. ( over 25 drinks to choose from )If youâre feeling adventurous and like avocados try the Avalancheâ it might sound a little odd at first, but trust me, itâs delicious.
The decor is stylish and inviting, making it a great place to hang out. Whether youâre looking for a late night treat or a cozy spot for a date before or after a movie, Local Luxe is definitely worth the visit. PS - I hear they may be adding Poke to the menu !! It will be nice if they get taller tables - You can order thru Uber eats, Grubhub , and DoorDash

I ordered from DoorDash & I hate to give someone such a low rating but I donât want anyone to waste their money . I ordered a coco loco & my husband ordered love potion. It was the worst boba weâve ever tasted . I took a few sips and it tasted like I was drinking an artificial perfume . My husband puts his straw in and we smelled a rancid smell and we immediately threw away both our drinks . Luckily DoorDash refunded us . If you want good boba go to its Boba time . Donât waste your money i donât know where they get their ingredients.

First of all, I order the Panda and I didnât like it, and I ask for another drink or a re-order, and was told that because you had already tasted it, it was non-refundable. How am i supposed to know a drink tastes bad if I havent tried it. Then, as I was reordering another drink, I was complaining to my friend (in spanish) about the situation, as I said that Its so bad that I need to reorder a drink. Kira then accused us of âhate crimingâ her, because we âcalled her a pendejaâ, which we did not do, she was just doing her job. Now weâre waiting as she calls her manager to kick us out of the store.. As they told me to leave, I called the manajer in the phone, she didnât said anything else, she never came back, and they kicked us out of the store. Kira was so mean and so disrespectful, and the manejar as the other personal didnât say anything.

So many neat options I didn't know what to pick so I narrowed it down to 4 and the guy who was working 10/18 at 12:30 totally played along and surprised me with a choice.
Life is more fun when you play along....oh ya and drink boba!!! ???

I had a disappointing experience at Luxe Boba. I ordered OH HONEY a Honeydew Milk Tea with extra boba and Rocket Shrimp, spending about $26 including a 20% tip. When my order was ready, I asked the staff if the shrimp dish contained pork, and they told me it did. I explained that I donât eat pork and kindly requested if they could switch it to something else. Shockingly, they refused to make any changes or offer a refund. I ended up leaving without my order. The lack of customer service and refusal to accommodate my dietary restriction was extremely frustrating. I wonât be returning, and I canât recommend this place to others.

Dynamite fries did not look the way advertised. It was just fries sprinkled with seasoning on a couple fries. No green onions or sauce evenly distributed. Sweet chili sauce was literally watering and tasted like nothing. I got the avolanche drink and it wasn't that good either. I've had better avocado smoothies this tasted like sugar and milk with coffee jelly. Was really disappointed probably won't come back.
