We came here for New Years Eve and had an amazing time! This is definitely my new favorite spot to go out in San Diego! Loved how there wasn't a huge line to get in or at the bar to order drinks. There were a lot of people but it wasn't super packed/cramped so there was actually space for you to move around/not always be bumping into someone. METE plays the best music out of every bar I've been to in both PB or Gaslamp. I'm not a huge fan of hearing pop/country/ when I'm out so highly recommend coming here if you love rap!

We tried to go on a Saturday night and Google states that they open at 6 p.m. We arrived at 8:00 p.m. and was told that they don't open until 10:00 p.m. We had made reservations for dinner and it's more of a club than a place to dine.

So disappointed A group of us planned to see Jason Brown on August 18th. We all got dressed and on our way to find the show was canceled. We were all dressed up and nowhere to go.
Not you charging people to get in your establishment and the party is dead. Never again! There was a promoter as we left offering to get us in for free. Which means they know they're ripping people off at the door. We asked for our money back and security blocked us from doing so...wasted money. Save your coins and go elsewhere! I've been here other times and they over charge for weak drinks. Please also take note like many places they include gratuity in your total. This often leads to lazy/slow bartenders, because they know either way they are getting a tip. Downtown as a whole is going down the drain sadly & this place is one of the reasons. Any good reviews on yelp are clearly from friends believe that!

Nice venue and staff. I was here last weekend with a group of friends and music was great so I came back last night. However, DJ from last night was horrible. Transition from one song to another was completely disastrous. It was either a stop, pause, new song, or the transition wasn't smooth at all. Constant acoustic feedback throughout the night. It got unbearable that we left before midnight. Might give it another try some time in the future but last night experience was disappointing.

This review is for the night club only. Came right before guestlist closed. It was pretty dead for a Friday night, though we did get a free glass of prosecco on the house, so we stayed for another drink. The place is decently sized, however, I do feel like they aren't maximizing the space they have. There is not a DJ stage with a centralized dance floor. It's more bottle table booths with dance floor space in between. With a thin crowd in that space, it did not feel like the right vibe to make me want to dance. With a few tweaks, I think this place has potential. May come back if things change.

They charged $20 per person and the band never played. We waited an hour and a half and the band never played. The DJ sucked and the sound system was awful. Do not come to this club save your money. Go anywhere else but here. This place just plain sucks. If I could I would give it zero stars. The manager is a joke I asked for my money back and he said to give him 5 minutes and went to hide. Shady club run by amateur immature kids that have no idea of business.

I went here on it's soft opening and it was absolutely delightful. The food is fire and I know the executive chef personally and he is absolutely one hundred percent attentive to his craft. And the food is delicious because he cares so much about taste and the presentation? Beautiful. I would say dress to impress and be ready for an after party with some great sized drinks.
