The Aji De Gallina chicken was fantastic. The Seco De Res beef stew was very good. The rice was a little undercooked.
AMAZING FOOD... SERVICE IS OK..
Quiet cozy place with music and televisions. Good food. Portions slightly on the small side.
Came here for Valentine’s Day. I recommend the Papa A La Huancaina. Great nighttime ambiance. Would come again. Best Peruvian food in the Gaslamp district. Elizabeth was great thoughtful and offered to take our photo made the experience that much better.
All of the silverware was incredibly dirty, which was a little off-putting at first. They exchanged it with no hesitation though. The food came out in reasonable time, but the rice was very undercooked. Felt like I was gonna chip a tooth.
I really appreciate the atmosphere of this restaurant. The barman was very polite and nice, also the waitress very kind. They have a few local beers like PACIFICO and great Peruvian food. I loved the sauce and really enjoyed the rice with shrimps. I would also recommend their cocktails. There are a few seats outside and lots of seats inside. People usually come here as groups, although it is a pleasant and nice place to eat alone. I didn't had any deserts and I'm sure if it's something here.
The customer service was very good, since she was attentive and quick. A minor thing was the quality of the food. The beef (part of the beef stew - seco de res) came out a bit cold; also the seafood felt overcooked in the leche de tigre. We thought it was good that the food came out so fast after we placed the order; but we would've preferred to wait a little longer to get a higher quality of food. Besides the minor points stated above, both dishes were still good along with the presentation.
3 kinds of pisco sour made very well. Peruvian lomo saltado rice sucks lacking the hints of garlic flavor. Bar service is awesome. Table service lacks some.
Good food, good service, light on seasoning, but wonderful atmosphere! I had a Lomo Saltado and it was delicious.
Elizabeth, our waitress, was very quick and friendly. The food proportions were large and the pisco drinks were excellent.

Were out of the first three things we tried to order, including lemonade. Each dish came out sporadically food was good. Just good.
Christmas night. Walking around the lamp light district to just get away from MY family. Stopped here to see what's up and get a tequila in me before I call the rest of them. Awesome service staff. I just went in for a drink, and left feeling like... Well like I belonged there. GG Machu Picchu bar staff. Good Game indeed!
Came here for a social dinner with a group of my classmates in preparation to study abroad in the actual country of Peru! The food was delicious and made me excited for the authentic stuff over there! The waitress Elizabeth was so friendly and organized and keep the atmosphere cordial. She was well versed on the Peruvian food as well.
Great authentic food, fast and friendly service!
I went in for a for a meal around lunch time . I ordered a pasta dish with a steak on top. i cannot say it was bad because i did not know what i was ordering. Although personally i do not like pesto in pasta. I cannot speak for everyone. Someone else might like pesto pasta. but overall the quality of the pasta and the steak were of good quality.
