Found this restaurant online and went there because reviews were pretty good and they have live music on certain nights. Food was good and service was okay, there was only one food sever for the entire restaurant! Everything was pretty good until we got our bill, for some reason they add a FIVE percent service fee on to all checks!
Which is not posted anywhere on the menu. Beware!

They need to adjust their hours. Went this morning at 10 am for my birthday with my friends and they were closed. Super disappointed
Food was amazing but service was a tad slow. The patio seating in front of the restaurant was nice but a bit cramped.
My friend and I came in to eat dinner last night and we loved the vibe! There was live music as well so it was even better. Jon (Jonathan T) was our server and he was very kind, attentive and helpful when taking our order. We ordered the Ribeye as well as the PPP as it was a gluten free option. The ribeye was cooked to perfection but the pasta really missed the mark. Jon noticed we hadn’t touched the dish and took care of the item for us! We understand that GF pasta can be tricky but he really went above and beyond!

Came for happy hour. Disappointed that the HH menu had two items that were no longer an available ( they were not being made) the Matteson could have said so when we were given the menus. So we selected two alternates and the HH meal went well. The booth at bar entry and by the bar can get a lot of noise from the bartenders when they are ble ding a big batch. We had ago pike, smashes potatoes ( to die for) burrata and tomatoes ( excellent) and a single slide. It was a birthday and Madison comped a dessert. Nice treat! I would return.
We were seated late. Food was okay. Server not really good. Left empty plates in the table. Not attentive. Parking around the area was bad.
My guest and I enjoyed our dinner at the Madison. The jazz musician was excellent, and the jazz made for a very memorable dining experience. Two disappointments were that the drink menu only includes 3 common white wines, so I was unable to order my favorite, Pinot Grigio. And second, my guest is a vegetarian, and there was only one vegetarian entrée offered on the menu. That said, she loved her vegetarian meal, and the jazz compensated for the limited white wine selection.
The food is good I've been here before, the service was average I felt they were a little understaffed. Live jazz music so it kept it lively
We chose Madison for a birthday celebration and it was a great experience. The food and service were excellent and we loved the live music!
Amazing main, appetizers, and drinks! Service was inconsistent from our server, would check in at the beginning of our meal, then we couldn't find her about 30 minutes and had to ask our busser for assistance, however everyone was very kind and helpful! Parking is always tough in this neighborhood- so uber!!

Have been here a few times. Architecture of the restaurant is cool and the food is good. Would just caution to avoid on any holidays. We booked the restaurant for New Year’s Eve and were told it was a pre-fixe menu only the day before. The pre-fixe menu was only 3 courses: 4 appetizer options, 4 entree options and 1 small dessert - drink pairing was extra. It was $99 before tax, tip or their obligatory service fee charge. Nothing about the meal warranted the cost. I understand a surcharge for holidays, but this just felt like robbery. TLDR visit on a random day and ensure there’s no pre-fixe menu. Also avoid when raining - indoor/outdoor architecture makes it exposed to the elements.

My experience at Madison on Park was generally positive. I came with my friends for their New Year’s special. It was supposed to be advertised as a three course meal for 99 dollars. Drinks were paired with the meals on the menu, which would have been worth the the money. However, the bill reflected the drinks as a separate cost. I think it was dishonest to advertise a menu, pairing the drinks the the meals, and then charge for them separately. Also, they charged a 5% “hospitality” charge, and expect an additional tip for the server. So I was charged an additional fee to eat in a restaurant? I would beware of this establishment’s “specials,” or at least inquire with the server beforehand. I ended up paying 170 dollars, when I expected to pay 100 dollars plus tip.

Expected a bit better service for the price. Ordered wine pairing with my food but had to wait a while after my food made it to me to receive my paired drink. Was charged for two pre-fix meals but only received one dessert. Aside from that, food was great and delicious— as well as the drinks. I would give this place another chance based on the taste of the food.
Extremely disappointed!! (Read to the end to know about the only person who was working last night who actually cared.... God Bless her!) I wanted to give my son, who just got back from college a special NYE. I bought the NYE Experience for both of us, under “Standard Seating” . The hostess sat us near the door, away from the jazz singer and the main experience area. On complaining she “insisted” that I booked “bar seating”. After I showed her my reservation on OpenTable, she was still reluctant to fix her mistake. We sat at the table by the bar for 50 minutes before we were given the fable we initially reserved . The whole reservation system and hostess' handling it was a disaster, not just for us, but many guests. The service was super slow. After a 50 minute wait on being seated at the right table, we waited another 25 minutes for someone to come take our order. We kept waiting for appetizers when our main course was served because they couldn't track that they hadn't served us the first course yet. I had to send that back, only for appetizers to come 15 more minutes later. We asked for more chips for our tuna tartar, which took them another 15-20 minutes. The food wasn't that great either. Definitely not worth $99/person. This was definitely not what I signed up for. The musician was okay, but the acoustics sucked. You just couldn't make out the lyrics in the sitting area.... The hostess needs some serious training, so she knows she cannot turn around and claim the guests made a mistake on their reservation, and after being proven wrong is unapologetic and acts like she did us a favor by providing the correct table to us 50 minutes late. The only saving grace of the evening was the bartender Jenny (Jany?) from Brazil. She was amazing! She felt really bad for us. Gave us complimentary drinks and checked on us several times. She was probably the only one in the restaurant who actually cared about the guests and providing decent service.
