Madra Liquor & Deli Giant NY Pizza

The owner is rude and impatient. I was renting one of their Uhaul trucks and he had trouble communicating in a reasonable way. Not to mention he is very hard to understand. As for the market/deli itself, it is empty. Not enough food to stock the shelves. The pizza looked okay, but I did not get to try it.

The Greek salad was delicious, fresh, crispy and yummy yogurt dressing. The pizza was very fresh too, good value, classic new your style. I’ll be coming here again.

They Had A Pizza/Fountain Drink Special.! Unfortunately Their Fountain Machine Wasn't Working.! So, We Should've Been @ Least Able To Get A Can Of Soda.! But, They Charged Me An Additional $1.25 For A 12 Oz.Can Of Soda.! I Like The Previous Owners Better.! They Put More Ingredients On Their Pizza & It Taste Better.!

Good food. Great salad (get the house dressing), and be kind to the old man, Oscar, who's just awesome!

Good pizza

I am writing the review because this shop provides U-Haul services / is partnered with U-Haul and he has no idea what is going on. Very disappointed in their service as U-Haul has been in the moving and storage rental business for quite some time now. Two consecutive moves where there are major hiccups causing me to delay my move for 1-2 hours. Long story short, my U-Haul has been scheduled for pick up at the Lemon grove location for 7:30 and I get there around 7:10 to check in as the text message from U-Haul states that location. After checking in the location changed to the T&Q food alliance location which is 15 mins away. I drove to that location waiting 30 mins for the place to open at 8. Best part is the I voiced my concern and the guy literally asked me if I checked the parking lot for U-Haul even though he observed the parking lot while opening the store. Called Lemon Grove the guy hung up on me twice. Couldn't find the vehicle by the 24/7 share area as there are no trucks and here I am waiting in line 1.5 hours from the start of this issue. Corporate needs to address this issue: train their employees on customer service, staff more people, or fix their remote check in system.

I love the pizza here . it's the best pie west of new York no one in San Diego even comes close to the tasty , giagantic goodness of the pizza created here . The friendly crew there is awesome and i highly recommend this place . the prices are just as tasty for a cheap SOB like me . stop by enjoy life and a pizza .
