Main Chick Hot Chicken

My boyfriend and I ordered some fried chicken for take out. But when we almost finished food, I found a hair inside chicken skin. Food tastes good but you never want to eat again after you found the hair.

Since the first time I entered the place it became my favorite chicken sandwich.

Very crispy, very mindful, very demure.

I’ve been there a couple of times since the first time.

Best fast food hot chicken sandwiches out here. My fav is the dark meat sandwich at spicy level. Really packs a punch and is so juicy and crispy.

Do not order the super hot.
It is ridiculously spicy.

I said no pickles and these fools put pickles on my tender and sandwich. I told them mild they gave me spicy. I said please add a fork for my Mac and cheese they gave me no fork or napkins. The food wasn't good at all. The mac was average and the tender and sandwich were horrendous. I haven't ate here in a year won't be back again

As a foreigner trying to find the best fried chicken in San Diego, main chik is my #1 spot. I’ve tried many places but their chicken is deliciously juicy, fresh, coleslaw is amazing, Mac cheese is probably not the best or rather 5/10. I will always get my fried chicken here from now on!

This is by far the best spicy chicken sandwich I’ve ever had, juicy meat, crunchy and crispy on the outside, and really hot with the “spicy” sauce. 10/10

Literally one of my all time favorite places, they're always nice here and sometimes you get an extra tender which makes me so happy. I think Main Chick is way better than Dave's and I hope they never close or I'll cry

So I had to call to verify I thought they might have had the price wrong but to my surprise it was infact 3.99 USD for a CAN SODA!! nope never again food was good but that alone will kill anyone's vibe

The food is worth the money compared to other chicken places. Super tender and moist chicken, the slaw is juicy and creamy and the fries heavily seasoned. I love their mac and sauce. Best to take-out because the dining room is very small and often crowded. Have to pay extra for more MC sauce.

I got the tenders; the mild has a little spice to it which I was not expecting. Fries were overly seasoned. I would not eat here again

Not too impressive, they gave me a stale bun and toasted it . I couldn't taste anything but chili sauce smothered in dry burnt batter . The beer was alright, but you'd have a better chicken if you went to KFC and just dumped an entire slice bottle of Cheyenne all over it . The beer though, tasted like beer .
