The tortas are not very good at all. No flavor to them. And the tamale came smothered in a red sauce that was not tasty. Service was okay though you have to ask for water refills and I had to get my own hot sauce because our waiter disappeared. I’m not going back.
Love this place! Second time eating here. The food is absolutely great and the portions are large. Cost wise, you'd spend about $20 per plate, which is perfect. The staff here are very friendly, specifically Maria Robles and Ruben Barajas. They were a delight and incredibly helpful; our dining experience was absolutely wonderful. Definitely recommend this place if you're in the Old Town area!

The atmosphere was casual and rustic in keeping with Old Town tradition but everything was very clean and orderly.
