Only those who live Rome Italy knows what real Italian food taste like. And Mamma Mia got it right on flavor and smell.
Absolutely stunning food! This restaurant is so authentic and delicious we feel like we are in Italy. Amazing wines. Large, generous portions. Varied menu. Love love love the people, good service and Italian accents! What a great time.
Great PB local, family owned restaurant... gnocchi!
One of the WORST Italian meals I've ever eaten. The Fettuccine Chicken Alfredo consisted of pasta, a little white sauce, and about 2 ounces of chicken bits that looked like dog kibble and tasted like sausage. The side salad was a bag of spinach mix with no Italian ingredients you expect for an Italian salad....The total was $28.00...The meal was worth maybe $12.00....If you want an Italian meal, go to Marino's Restaurant down the street on Garnet Ave.
This place is absolutely amazing. I came here around dinner time on a date, and we were seated almost instantly. I got the Ravioli Di Zucca and it was fantastic! After we ordered, our food couldn't have taken more than 10 minutes to come out. It was crazy fast. And it was all delicious! Reasonably priced, very clearly homemade, and fast, welcoming service! However, this is a very small restaurant so I would not recommend large parties.
Delicious food! My boyfriend and I were the only people there & we got great service. The tiramisu is to die for! We will definitely be back
To start we really enjoyed the food and experience spending time with our friends. The food was very good and came out in a timely matter, but...Our waiter was very nice and hostess were both very nice; however, extremely unprofessional (hostess was on phone while we were checking in and talking to her and dressed unprofessionally wearing a crop top). Now for the waiter, again very nice; however, he did not know how to talk about anything on the menu. When asked about specials he just said “some type of lasagna”. After ordering our food, 15 min later he comes back saying we have to order an appetizer to get our free corkage fee for our Thursday night dinner. Mind you on the website it just states no corkage fee on Tuesdays and Thursdays. We confirmed when we arrived and was not told about the appetizer. We wanted to order lasagna (it’s 730 pm) and we’re told it had an hour and a half to go in the oven. That’s outrageous.Lastly, there was zero music in a “nice Italian restaurant” and when we requested music the first thing that comes on is rap. Again, a “nice Italian restaurant. We may go back again, not positive, but the food was really good.
The best itialian food I have ever had!! I can not wait to return on my next trip and eat there again. The staff was friendly and helped make the experience that much better.
I would highly recommend going to Mamma Mias is you are looking for great Italian food and a super great outdoor patio. The staff was amazing! They were so friendly and all the food was delicious. Our table got a little bit of everything and we were not disappointed. I’d highly recommend going to Mama Mias.
Delicious, authentic Italian cuisine. Quaint environment with a comfy patio.

The food I must admit was quite good.... The river view is awesome, Totally great food and wine in a lovely room overlooking the Mississippi. A must stop when we are in Muscatine.Excellent job MAMMA MIA keep it up...!!!
First off, Im used to good food. Good food is a dime a dozen. So when my lady said we HAD to go here for dinner i was skeptical. We pull up and walk in and we were the only ones there which was amazing, service was absolutely commendable! But when my lady and i got our fold and i took that first bite, it was euphoric. Never before have i been so completely happy with a meal that my heart was as full as my stomach. My hat goes off and my heart goes out to the head chef for an amazing first experience for this date!
Oh my, this was the best Italian food i have ever had in my life. It was well worth the wait! The service was great and they even sang Happy Birthday with a candle in the complimentary Tiramisu for my travel companion! Talk about flavor explosions! Everything was perfect!
Truly wonderful Italian experience. The menu options are plentiful, offering something for everyone. Atmosphere was a great treat to compliment the immensely flavorful dishes, served by a wonder staff. Will certainly be going back when I'm in the area.
Food is very good here, service on the other hand is a little funny. We have been twice now so we enjoy the place, but the first time we went a lady joked and poked fun about things we wanted to order. The second time they brought out the wrong order and we waited long enough where it wasnt worth re ordering. Realistically we will probably be back there when we visit San Diego county just will double check that the order was written down correctly.
