The most bland and worse Chinese food I’ve ever had. The orange chicken tasted like ketchup and the lo mein just tasted like soy sauce.

Bland food, rubbery beef, no flavor in food dishes, didn’t serves all of what we ordered but after tasting the food we were relieved and canceled what didn’t get served. Soup tasted like water. All sauces tasted like it was from packets. Would not recommend.

This was not a great experience. The food was bland, the chucks of pork in the pork fried rice was dry and looked recooked. The chicken wrapped in paper (foil) that I ordered were burnt on to the foil. Like they were recooked, I could go on. 2 of us spent $80 - terrible.

This place is a must go! The food was great and the service was even better. They were fast getting the food out. Made sure everything was taken care of. The best part for us was how friendly they were the whole time. Great dining experience.

Very good food, not your "typical" Chinese food. The service is very good and the dining room is clean.

Just ordered dinner from Mandarin Wok. I have been looking for a solid Chinese restaurant close to home to add to my rotation and I was very hopeful. What a disappointment! While the egg roll was tasty but greasy and the shrimp tempura (fried shrimp) was tasty, the Mandarin lo mein and Bbq pork with vegetables was absolutely inedible. The hot and sour soup had too much vinegar and the heat was not savory. Sadly, i spend almost $70 for a tasteless poor quality dinner. I will not be returning to Mandarin Wok restaurant. I am still on the look out for a solid Chinese restaurant in the Clairmont area.

So let me start out by saying that the egg drop soup, eggroll, cream cheese wonton, and shrimp were all very delicious. But the cashew chicken was not good at all. I have to admit that I did see in the description that it said it had a red sauce, but when it came out, it was literally blood red. It did not have the typical cashew chicken flavor. It had zero vegetables. Literally only blood red chicken and blood red cashews. We just could not eat it. I brought it home for my husband and tried to mix in some soy sauce to make it less blood red, but it was still really gross looking so I had him eat it with the lights off lol. They were nice there and the restaurant was clean and nice looking. We travel around full time and have eaten Chinese food all over the country and this is the first I have ever seen it look or taste like this. We joke that we are now completely traumatized, but we are now always going to scrutinize the description and ask questions if it sounds out of the norm.Wheelchair accessibility: It is wheelchair accessible. Bathrooms are also wheelchair accessible.

A classic Chinese restaurant with very friendly staff. The drink selection was limited but we enjoyed the Sapporo’s and Sake. The vegetable fried rice and cream cheese fried things were great. We didn’t love the Tsao’s chicken but the vegetables with it were delicious.

Decent Chinese food just a half step above Panda Express. Classics don't deviate from what you expect, and everything was hot fresh and plentiful. Hot and Sour soup was as good as anywhere I have eaten. Special words have to be said about the tender beef. Too many beef dishes these days are tough or re-cooked leftovers.
