Aslin was incredible with recommendations and service- She literally knew the menu inside and out and helped us decide as if she was a card reader. Anna is the most gift bartender can craft any cocktail of your dreams. This is the best place to go. What do you want appetizers and a cocktail or a fabulous pull on 10 star meal do not skip it. It must be part of your Lajoya night owl

Such a gem, my wife and I spend each of our anniversaries there. This week was 25, and as always, the food, service, and atmosphere keep us longing for the next anniversary dinner!!!

Best Italian steakhouse I've ever been to – and I travel a lot around the world. Amazing service and atmosphere.
Went in for my birthday. Our server must've been overwhelmed... not sure. Basically never checked on us. Had to ask for more drinks. The hosts were great and acknowledged my birthday, the server never said one thing. It's weird vibes in there and the food was underwhelming especially for the pricing. I don't ever write bad reviews but it was really disappointing. And a Tito's soda was $20? Fix your pricing or change your service.
The service was super slow; however, the staff was pleasant but they were understaffed, and the food was fine - the portions seemed smaller than normal - maybe trying to decrease their food cost.
I used to love this restaurant and would even travel from out of town just to dine here because the food and service were always exceptional. Unfortunately, my recent experience on Wednesday night was very disappointing. Our server, Harper, came across as rude and inattentive. It felt like we were treated differently compared to other tables, which made us uncomfortable. I ordered the lobster ravioli, which was very underwhelming — it lacked flavor entirely. The other entrée we ordered had better flavor, and the Caesar salad was decent, but overall, the meal didn't live up to the high standards I had come to expect. It was my boyfriend's first time dining here, and I was excited to share a place I loved — but sadly, the experience didn't reflect what I had told him. For the cost, the visit just wasn't worth it this time, and that was really disappointing.
The place is definitely a cool spot but the food is less than average. Wouldn't come back to eat but maybe for drinks
Wonderful food, great service. I had the chicken piccata, which was delicious. The tiramisu was amazing.
Terrible food. Seafood wasn’t fresh. 4 shrimp cocktail for $24 and the shrimp wasn’t even fresh. For clam sauce linguini. Linguini didn’t have taste of the sauce and was purely bland. Clams weren’t cleaned properly and had sand. On top of that, clam was not fresh and overcooked so it tasted dry.

Always a great time at Manhattan! Eggplant Rollatini and table side Caesar Salad are best way to start the meal! Great service and live jazz.
I went to Manhattan for my birthday. The steaks were wonderful. No one makes carrots as delicious as theirs. The service was friendly. I would recommend Manhattan for a lovely night out.
Table side Caesar, calamari fritti, seafood stew with grilled bread and cheese cake. The entire staff takes traditional hospitality and classic service to heart… one of the best kept secrets of La Jolla!

Excellent food. We had Manhattans, of course. We had the veal chop and the scallops with table side Caesar salad. All excellent. Table side cherries jubilee. A special place.
