Manila Fast Food Restaurant

I had a bad experience, so I called and asked for the manager, but they hung up on me.

I’ve heard pretty good reviews about this Filipino fast food joint in north county sd. My family and I decided to check it out when we in the area.

We went on a Sunday afternoon, and was surprised they didn’t have many choices of entrees available. I’m Convinced we missed the lunch rush and they were gonna close since it was qlmost 3 pm?

i think im spoiled when compared to the southbay san diego choices.

cons: they dont overpack their food. they dont give you a lot of rice like other places. not bad, but they only give you enough.

The Adobo was overcooked and kind of burnt. We didn't bother returning it because afraid they might be offended. also the Picadillo wasnt that great. it was very watery.

pros: the crispy PATA, is the only thing I think is worth it to eat at this restaurant. It cost $24.99 and you have to wait 16 minutes for it to be cooked fresh. If I was reading this only on the PATA, it would be 10 out of 10. Everything else not so much.

The staff redeemed itself by offering us more rice when we received our PATA.

My guess my overall summary is there's not much Filipino food choices in Miramesa. So I guess this is the blessed place that you can deal with. I am still craving that crispy pata.

I used to love and eat at this place and love the people before but now they sucks with their service I don't mind paying more on my food. I pay for my food I don't ask for it this one crew here a man his so disrespectful and rude... if you see this guy serving you walk away.. his giving less food and he had the audacity to be rude qosh . Sorry to the owner but don't make him as your front man pleassseee...

Not authentic at all. Different taste compared to Hawaii. Ordered over easy but they gave me a sunny side up egg that’s been sitting for a while because it’s very cold.

The food was mid. We got the Longonisa / Burnt Tosino in one plate (see picture) and the Lechon Kawali / Pork Afritada on another plate.

The Lechon Kawali was the best dish out of the 4 and the burnt Tosino was the worst for obvious reasons. It was probably cooking since morning and they should have tossed it instead of sold it to us for us to toss it anyways. I can't help but feel scamed out of an entree.

As for service, they let the lady behind us cut us right in front because they seem to know her. I'm thinking she would give them a 5/5 stars for letting her cut us.

Returning from Seattle to my hometown in Mira Mesa, I really miss the Manila Fast Food restaurant. They offer a wide variety of affordable and delicious Filipino dishes, from snacks to big meals and desserts! The portions are generous, and the food is always tasty. The service is nice. I absolutely love it!

Alfonso and the ladies are very polite and friendly! One thing that impressed me is their effort to get their customers names and use it, it is always a delight when you hear your name, it makes you want to come back and you start being loyal and spread the service and food. Additionally, the staff knows your favorite food!
