Crazy overpriced for what it is. Cost around 55 dollars for this

Stay away from this place! They have roaches. We were having dinner and I saw a cockroach running around on the floor and the employee literally killed it in front of everyone. Would give no star if possible. Disgusting! Our water had dirt in it.

First time trying Nishiki Ramen and sadly it was a big disappointment. We ordered ramen bowls, chicken and rice, and fries. Service was okay, but the next day our whole family had stomach issues and diarrhea. For what we paid, it definitely wasnât worth the health risk. I also noticed the kitchen area looked dirty when I went to the restroom, so there may be cross-contamination issues. We wonât be coming back.

A cockroach crawled past face on the wall at least an inch and half big. A gangster waitress killed it with her hands. However we did not receive a discount for the trauma.

Terrible management and customer service
Upon arriving there was a long wait and I asked the hostess if it was possible for my partner and I to sit on the side bar table facing the street since there was nobody sitting there. Hostess said that she was trying to prioritize all parties ahead of us which was understandable but was not utilizing this for anyone. Waited for 30+ minutes for a table of 2 and as soon as we sat down a party of 5 showed up and asked the same thing I did to a different host and were seated immediately.

Black garlic was very good - egg was perfectly marinated and jammy.
However, the Russian Roulette game with a wasabi-filled takoyaki was a disappointment.
Russian Roulette implies that the game is dangerous, with potentially dire consequences, which means I expect that the unlucky player will be reduced to a writhing puddle of tears and snot by the sheer amount of wasabi in the takoyaki while everyone else cackles in glee and relief.
This did not happen.
Actually, my partner, who got the offending takoyaki, wasnât even sure if he did because it was so wimpy.
If youâre going to name a gimmick on the menu after a deadly game, make it deadly.
Shoyu ramen broth was gritty and separated. Noodles super overcooked. Not a nice flavor either. Service was fine. I wouldn't come back, sorry.

Probably one of the top two ramen spots Iâve had in San Diego. I damn right licked the bowl clean. Noodles were perfectly chewy and broth was just right. Drank every last drop of that broth. They include 15% service charge in all bills so no need to tip. Waitress was attentive and to the point. 100% will return, drooling as I type right now
