My experience at this restaurant in old Town wasn't pleasant because for one the food was overpriced and disgusting. And the customer service wasn't good. I wouldn't recommend anyone to eat

Arrived to empty tables full of food all around, much of which was on the floor. Should have known right then. Server delivered stale chips and salsa, so stale we couldn’t chew them. Ordered beans and guac, the beans were a soupy, milky mush, tasted like dirty water. Ordered quesabirria (corn and flour tortillas). The meal came out and was tasteless garbage. Gross boiled meat with half-hearted melted cheese on a soggy tortilla. This was one of the worst meals I’ve had in 15 years and I eat at restaurants 6 days a week all over the place. Took three bites, paid the $70 bill, and walked across the street to a restaurant that actually cares about the quality of food they provide to their patrons.

Stumbled upon this place and gave it a try. Got the El Cata Plata & shrimp & octopus tacos.Was surprised to see a mound of melted cheese on the tortilla. Not authentic at all. Veggies and seafood were over cooked.While the El Cata Plata looked good, it was the most bland seafood dish I have ever had.The raw Tuna didn't taste fresh, cooked shrimp & octopus were both over cooked rubber. Raw salops and raw shrimp were edible but flavorless.Tried adding salt, lime but it didn't do the trick. Ate a few bites of each item and asked for the bill.Service was quite slow.They also have a credit card fee.Do not recommend whatsoever.

Very delicious food but you can't miss the band music (Mexican music) I fell asleep with the music playing in the background, and the seafood can't be missing the shells, oysters, etc. They still say it's a short time (5 months) and they are processing permits, we travel 400 miles from TucsonAz.

We’re visiting from out of town and stopped at this place for some good tacos and the michelada was a great pair with the tacos. It was a beautiful day to sit on the patio for our big group and perfect our small kids. The service was excellent! Andrea and the rest of the staff were attentive. Thank you El Cara!

The food was yummy! BUT the service was horrendous. I never leave reviews but this will be the one I make. It took over 10 minutes to be noticed. Then, we ordered our food, the waitress just dropped off the food and that was it. No one checked in on us. Then, when we finished. No wait staff was to be seen. We waited about 15 minutes for someone to come. I actually had to ask the hostess (who was lovely) to get someone. The waitress came and asked what was wrong and I suggested to just check your tables more. And she rolled her eyes and said "okay". Absoultely terrible. The only people who were lovely was the busboy and the hostess. It's a shame because the food was good. And there were only 3 tables, so it was even more sad that the service was awful. Definitely not going back.
