I walked by this spot a bunch of times without going in , I’m alway a little hesitant to do sea food but I am so happy I gave it a shot !! I ordered two octopus and chicharron tacos and they were amazing, perfectly cooked , very tender and not fishy, the chicharron was a perfect addition to the octopus and the added mouth feel was delightful and OMG the beans !!! Wow!! I’m a bean man and these are some of the bess refried beans I’ve ever had. All the staff was amazing including the chef and cooks. My family and I have added this gem to our weekly menu. Thank you Mariscos El Pulpo !!

Best fish taco spot in downtown! I got the shrimp taco and fried fish taco which were both phenomenal. Will definitely go back next time I'm in San Diego!

The food here is fantastic it was our third time here and twice with driven over 50 miles specifically to get Ceviche there. It's the best I've ever tasted. Fresh ingredients, flavorful & a sauce that makes it unbelievably tasty! The staff is friendly the atmosphere is festive but most of all the food is the best mexican food I have ever eaten.
