This is one of our go-to spots whenever we come down to San Diego. We were visiting from Las Vegas and everything was really good. I loved the variety of sauces they offer, from the classic hot sauces to the spicier, more flavorful ones.

The service was amazing. Everyone greeted us, and our waitress was very attentive. The restaurant has a true hidden-gem feel, and the ambiance was great.

The micheladas were good, but a bigger glass would make them even better. It would also be cool to see a few more michelada options, maybe with cucumber, shrimp, or orange, to help them stand out like the oyster and shrimp plates.

We’ll definitely be coming back soon.

We waited 25 minutes to be seated and another 10 for the waitress (the owner’s sister) to show up. She was very rude and told us that if we weren’t going to order, we should leave, even though we were in the middle of ordering. We let the owner know. Never got to try the food, so I can’t comment on that.

hands-down, one of the best seafood I’ve had in all of California! treated us like family would definitely return!

Waited 20min, 1 server. I order a burrito. And she says they dont have burritos here. What kind of Mexican restaurant is this ? Bad service bad food. Salsa and chips tasted out of the can

Fresh seafood tacos, cocktails and fish etc. The best place in National City. I live close by and come here every week. My fav are the fish tacos and the shrimp and mango ceviche, so delicious. I highly recommend Mariscos La Capital. Try it, you will be glad you did. Plenty of street parking and the customer service is amazing.

I’ve dined in the restaurant about 10 times. 6 stars for that! Carry-out, which I’ve done about 5 times, is shit. Wet ceviche packaged in a styrofoam box is wild. Sometimes no salsa, sometimes a very small amount of salsa. Smaller portions.

First time here today and it was delcious. We ordered the oysters topped with ceviche, our new favorite! The fish tacos were also top notch. Tostada mixta and ceviche de pescado were really fresh and flavorful. This is our new spot for mariscos. Servers were very attentive, polite, and on top of their game. So glad we found this place. Thank you!
