I’d give them a 3.5 if I could. The shrimp taco and fish taco were good. Aguachile needed salt and wasn’t worth $14. Reason for the low rating is because they come up with prices. Their menu on the truck said $10/tostada and $4.50/taco, but they charged $14/tostada and $6 for the shrimp taco. At least put tape with updated prices on the physical menu.

The only food was seafood cocktails, which are 80% salt and chili. I have never eaten so much salt in my life. Price 20$. Sucks place!!!

Delicious tacos, we had the birria as well as the fish tacos and though both were absolutely amazing I would have to say if I had to pick to get the fish tacos. Hot, fresh, and good quality. The lady that takes orders is also so sweet and very friendly if you need help deciding what to order. They have tables out front to “dine in” outside or you could also do takeout. Will definitely be coming back! Edit: we have gone back multiple times since this and I feel like they overcharge some people and charge less for others. Although the food is delicious I think it’s a bit expensive for what it is.

Might be the best battered/fried fish or shrimp tacos you can get in all of San Diego.
Personally, having tried various things on their menu, they do fish/shrimp tacos best. The other things are good, but too expensive and not as satisfying as their tried and true fried fish/fried shrimp tacos.
If I were to rate the food, the fried fish/shrimp tacos were an 11/10 and the rest of the menu averaged a 6.5/10.
To add to this, I've gone to several other popular fish taco trucks and restaurants since coming here. Really made me realize just how special Mariscos Mi Gusto Es was. Almost guaranteed they'll make your top 3 fish taco spots.

I visited this truck on a recommendation from You Tube, it has the highest Yelp review for a truck in SD. Spicy shrimp taco was great. Fried shrimp taco was just ok, fried shrimp was under seasoned. The sauce and topping carried the main ingredient. Overall, food was tasty but not the best. The chipotle sauce on the side just tastes like seasoned mayo. Not much flavor.
