This restaurant appears to be closed permanently. OpenTable took a reservation for Friday night dining, but the place was locked shut when we arrived, with a “For Lease” sign on the building.
The Joe Iconic concert was great. One of the best that we have seen at Martini's in many years. The food was very good and our server Adrian was great. Looking forward to our next visit.

Might have been the worst service experience I’ve ever had in San Diego. Paid 20 dollar cover for brunch, no waiter for like 10 minutes. Bartender wasn’t setup outside even tho it was 12:30p. Food was the only thing that was good but wait staff was lost the entire time. Messed up our drink order twice. Service was insanely slow even tho the place was practically dead. We were 1 of maybe 5 tables in the whole place.
The best vibe as soon as I entered. And the drinks were soDelicious. Best espresso martini I've ever had. I would definitely come back and recommend. The bartenderLorenzo is the party his vibe is everything. I love this place.
Officially the new favorite spot! Many great options and bartender was perfect.
I don't usually return food or drinks but being a Martini Lounge, the martinis were terrible! No champagne nor a descent wine selection either. Food was very mediocre too. Musicians were amazing however.
As much as I love the fast paced night life in Hillcrest this was a beautiful change of pace. It’s a little hard to find (take the elevator to the second floor) but overall a wonderful experience. They had a performer singing and the drinks were delicious. Great place!
I'm a bit worried about the new corporate ownership, but it felt fairly similar to the old Martinis. The martini menu, much like the dinner menu, had been pared down. They need to work on veggie dinner options too. Hoping this place is soon as good as it was but SO glad it's back.

Awesome LGBT friendly bar in San Diego. They have an awesome bottomless gay brunch menu.
We just left Martinis. We are so disappointed in this place . We really wanted it to be great so we could go back with family and friends many times. The reservation system was very confusing we had to go to Martinis website for the show and pay the charge In advance that starts at 8. It asked what table number we wanted with no diagram of seating chart available. Then we wanted to eat before show but could not get a hold of restaurant until the night of show so had to go to open table and get a dinner reservation thinking the show was at 8. We sat down had an amazing server Christina but the poor girl had to say everything we asked for they do not have even though it was on the menu. We finally found a few things, french fries, chicken dinner, pizza and ceviche. Two things came out 30 minutes before the other 2 entrees. We were ok with everything until 8 oclock came. Two Entertainers start walking around talking to people as to which the only people in the audience were with the Rue Paul Show( The Void) They made a comment around 8:30 they were almost ready to start . Guess what next thing we know they are playing a blurry tv show on the big screen . After an hour we asked our server what was going on she said she would check. She came back embarrassed and said she was told the show would be starting in another 45 minutes by now that means 10 pm. Their webdite said show 8-9:30 We now have been at Martinis 4 hours no show in sight. We had an early morning event and had to leave. So we had no show and paid in advance for something we never got. Really not sure there was ever a show. So very disappointed wish it was the original Martinis above 4th but as nice as the people were they don't have a chance with this kind of management . I hated writing this review but don't want anyone else to be blind sided as we were.
This venue used to be fun and amazing but since new ownership it's not at the same level as before. They are trying hard but there's still a lot of training and details that need to be addressed. It has potential but needs some much needed help and TLC!
A wonderfully relaxed gay bar and supper club with strong drinks and an atmosphere of another era. Reservations are recommended for show nights.
I was pleasantly surprised by the flavors in the Tomahawk pork chop that I had over the savory potatoes. While the drinks were good, they were not quite to the quality of the previous ownership but that can be improved. The service was amazing and I'm so happy to see the restaurant reopened. Definitely will be back, especially to try some other food options.
