Actually and unfortunately, 8/27/25, we didn't have a chance to eat breakfast this morning. The restaurant was practically empty and the food was taking too long.vThe waitress stated there was an additional 5 minutes more. We decided to cancel our order and left.

Super yummy food and very attentive service. Only 1 bathroom stall so if you have bowel issues here may not be the best choice. Some of the best pancakes I've ever had and the blueberries were extremely fresh.

This place was amazing! I got a weekend special fritatta and my wife got the mushroom mix toast. I don’t know what they did but it had such an intense delicious mushroom flavor. Mine was also really good. There was a slight mixup but Jean cleared it up real quick
Great brunch spot which gives you the South Park neighborhood vibe. Friendly staff and orders come out quick. Great food and drinks selection. The food portions are very generous. I can definitely recommend this place and will come back.

Great experience at Mateo's!! Beautiful restaurant with the best food! I got the breakfast pauozzi and it was delicious. George and lupita were amazing with serving our table. Giacamo was amazing making us feel welcomed and bringing us the best of the best!!! Definitely coming here again

Hi, I couldn’t just ignore it so I am leaving this comment.
Yesterday, we had the chicken sandwich, Italiano pizza, and chilaquiles, along with two hot coffees and one iced coffee. Initially, we got a $75 receipt, but when my boyfriend tried to pay with cash, it took so long to process and the lady (Was it Jean? Trying to remember the name) came back with the new charge - that it was actually $98. Had I known, I would have asked to double-check. I guess my bf wasn’t sure how to respond at the moment, so he ended up paying over $100 including tips.
Could you please confirm if that total was correct for those orders? The food was excellent, but it was confusing and disappointing that the price changed mid-transaction (from $75 to $98 for what reason?). It’s unfortunate that such a great meal ended on a confusing note and clearly overcharged.
