This is the second time I have come here on a Friday with a big order for our whole office only to find the door locked and the place closed. Their website says they're open but they aren't and there is no sign as to why. VERY FRUSTRATING. So we took our $150 order and went somewhere else. We won't be coming back here anymore. It's too bad because the food is good.

Are they trying to punk customers with this creepy doll thing they have set up in these pics? Is this one of those prank Youtube channels trying to scare customers? Whatever it is, just stay away from this place, it’s not like there’s a shortage of good Mexican places in San Diego.

I believe this place just recently closed. I've gone there 3 times in the past 10 days, and they're always closed. Calling there # sounds like the line has been disconnected. Check for yourself before driving there. By the way, food, service, atmosphere are all EXCELLENT at Mauricio's.

We lived nearby for a month in a temporary apartment. Mauricio’s became my cure for carnitas cravings! So flavorful! We frequently ordered the street tacos and nachos! Both were yummy!

My sister and I shared The Big Plate, which had a bean tostada, 2 rolled tacos with guacamole, and a beef taco. It was a perfect amount for us to share. The beef taco and tostada were my favorite and I love their beans. We'll definitely be back.

Customer service here is absolutely garbage! Drove back to the location because the order I received was wrong. The owner/cook refused to correct the mistake. For nachos that are 20 bucks you would expect better customer service. There's plenty of taco shops in that area. Definitely wouldn't recommend this one ?
