Delicious food in a vibrant community. An extraordinary cuisine that provides a unique experience of the taste of Northern Africa with a touch of Baja California. A great representation of the diversity of the San Diego community.

As a Moroccan who lived most of her life in Morocco and the rest in baja cali. I love to come to this place and eat their food. It really makes me feel home and I love the taste and every bite of their food especially the hot Moroccan tea. I highly recommend this

Stopped in for lunch. I had the veggie bowl and husband had the chicken. Both bowls were piled high with different components, each one super flavorful and adding different textures to the bowl. We also enjoyed mint iced tea. Highly recommend!

Amazing place, from a moroccan, i love the mexican influence in the moroccan menu, we tried the mint tea, and the tacos, wish there was more moroccan choices like tajin, but i would for sure recommend it to anyone looking for some couscous or just mint tea, the best, also the lady taking orders is nice !

Loved the merguez lamb taco. My friend enjoyed the chicken and fish taco. The baklava yogurt dessert was magical. Had topo chico and mexi coke for drinks. Great experience. Will come again and would recommend.Parking: Parked in designated space behind restaurant and entered through the back.

The only other time I had bomb Moroccan food was in the South of France. No one has come close since, but this place definitely does! The style of ordering& paying and then sitting is very easy. Make sure you come on the third Friday of the month to get the chicken and cous cous special for two. It came with a generous amount of veggies & cous cous, us two girls couldn't even finish it! My favooorite!!! So fresh and delicious and beautiful outdoorsy environment. We even brought a dog I was dog sitting and he enjoyed it too.

Note: This reviews is not about the food. The restaurant did not announce on the website or google maps that they are closing for the holiday.I am visiting San Diego for 2 days and this place was one of my top destinations, but I was disappointed when I found it close (I tried to call several times to check if they are open and checked the website and google maps). I would love to come and try the food!

Rarely give these out but this place was such a vibe and the food was amazing! Decent amount of seating and service was great. The menu is very straightforward and doesn't have too many options. I went ahead and got the chicken bowl and my mom got the sweet potato and black beans bowl; we also both got a fish taco! Everything was flavorful , filling, healthy and light. Total for everything was around $48, so a bit on the pricy side unfortunately but you really get what you pay for! The bowls were HUGE so if you wanna try more things and you're on a budget I'd recommend sharing one. The fish taco was also a really good size and the flavor was amazing! You could tell they seasoned the fish as well and all the seasoning from the fish taco to the bowl just blended so well and perfectly. The Moroccan mint tea was also a favorite for my mom and I, it's her favorite tea so I'm glad they didn't disappoint! First time here by the way so I'll def be back. I stayed in my comfort zone this time, getting the chicken and fish taco but I've never had lamb so perhaps I'll bite the bullet and give it a shot.

4.6/5This place was amazing. Large portions, lots of flavor, and plenty of options. Usually can be skeptical of fusion dishes but they did not disappoint at all. The Medina fries had tons of flavor were fresh and crispy. The Couscous (a limited special I believe) was amazing. It came with a consumé type sauce that added a nice kick to the dish. The veggies were perfectly stewed and the couscous was a great vessel for the veggies. The server was great at giving suggestions so if you’re notsure what to order just ask! All the dishes we ordered were pretty large and we had leftovers even with a party of 4.This place has nice patio seating with great vibes all around. Will be coming back to try other dishes!

This North African/Baja inspired restaurant has delicious, fresh tacos, bowls, and sandwiches. Located on El Cajon Blvd in North Park/University Heights area, it provides great value and quantity of food. I had the Moroccan Chicken Bowl. Others in our group had the Veggie Bowl, bowl of black beans, and the Cali Merguez sandwich with aioli fries. I also had the Moroccan Mint Iced Tea that has mint and honey. Everything was delicious and very filling. They have seating and offer to go orders. You order at the counter, and they bring your food to your table

This place nails every aspect. The food was incredible, service was great and they nailed the ambiance. Karina up front and Ryan in the kitchen we’re great. Ryan made some good recommendations and we ended up trying quite a bit on the menu. The Fish tacos really shined. If you’re in the area definitely check this place out, it’s a 10/10 in my book.

Very welcoming restaurant with friendly staff. We loved both their chicken bowl and Shakshouka (with lamb sausage). They are loaded with the perfect amount of flavors, and the bowl came with a very generous portion. The Merguez taco (with pita) is a mini-version of the bowl, which could be a better option for people with smaller appetites. We found their fish tacos a bit dry, but still a good bite.
