Worst food ever. Nice owner/cook/whatever but - Check the photo of the curry I ordered… Absolutely tasteless fish sauce soup. Let me be clear - I ordered CURRY.

If you drive for DoorDash or Uber eats avoid this place cuz you’ll end up waiting 20-30 minutes to pick up the order

The lady who owns this is a looney. Whatever is being charged add 20-25% more for the tip that she doesn’t deserve at all. Worst service ever and the food is mediocre at best. Let this place fall

I try to get takeout at least once a month from Meechai. I have eaten a lot of Thai food from restaurants all over San Diego and internationally. I will say that all dishes are good unreasonably priced. Some of the dishes here are the Master Class in Thai food! My favorites are Tom Ka Gai soup, and Penang Chicken. Get the soup Spicy and you will get internal cleanse and flavor burst all in one dish. Hands down the absolute best around.

Love this spot. The owner is rad. She’s the owner, cook, cleaner, server and beyond. The food is always delicious. I see a bunch of comments about the tipping, but if you can’t afford to tip well (because hourly wage isn’t near livable) then don’t go out at all. Been going to this spot for years and it’s always delicious and affordable

I came here twice , but never again, only because it’s close to my friends house. It was horrible, the food was some what cold and tasted like leftovers. At the end the lady asked for 20 or 25% tip. No acceptable to ask!

The food was good and the owner was very nice and attentive. I asked for her recipe and I enjoy everything she brought. The sticky mango rice was probably the highlight though! Perfect sweetness and texture!

Restaurant was empty when we walked in at dinner time. The restaurant owner lady hid the tip screen and asked for 18% or 20% tip. The menu in store does not match up with the current restaurant name. It’s probably from a previous closed restaurant. Meat tasted odd from the dish-bitter and it’s definitely off.

Great food. We were in the area and just stopped by. We had yellow curry chicken and drunken noodles. Both were very good. Same owner cooking for 20 years. Atmosphere is good, it could use Thai music for background. We will be back next time we are in Point Loma.

Dry, hard, chicken in my curry when I ordered beef. The curry was good, but I couldn't get past the dry chicken instead of beef. I didn't have the order fixed because I ordered take-out.

Today is my first time at this restaurant. My bf and I had lunch here; he had chicken pad Thai while I had panang curry. I’ve been to different Thai Restaurants and I would say this is one of the best!!! The lunch portion was reasonable as it comes with one egg roll, salad, and rice (if you had panang). The Panang cooked right with tons of vegetables. The pad thai chicken was excellent because the meat that she used was white and was tender. Presentation of the restaurant was good too! Authentic Thai statue and decorations with soothing Asian instrumental music. There’s a bit of a wait since the owner, cook, server is the only operating as of now due to the cook had stroke and she couldn’t get any help at all outside. I highly recommend this place if you like authentic Thai cuisine! This is a small business and operated by its owner, so please be kind and support her.

Worse service ever. The only person in the restaurant is a very rude lady who goes back and forth from the front to the kitchen. She didn’t even know there was an order placed for pick up so it took me over 30 minutes to get my food while she was basically mocking at the situation.The place looks like a hoarder’s house, full of trash and covered on dust.I truly don’t know what kind of business is this.
