I was visiting from Colorado and could not be more disappointed of their customer service.
We walked in and greeted the guy at the counter without a response. It was an unpleasant experience, we felt unwelcome.

The prices are ridiculous. Way too high for that type of amount, they take advantage because they are souvenirs.

Great place to shop

The coyote café is an amazing place with a wonderful selection of tequilas and margaritas, I highly suggest it for any newcomer to San Diego!

Well based off previous reviews, we aren’t the only ones. Senior woman, followed us around and asked “are you going to buy anything?” Without even being able to browse for more than a minute. We can’t buy anything, if we aren’t allowed to look. Save your time, shop else where.

I should’ve checked the reviews of this shop before visiting it. I felt so disappointed and sad.

We went to this shop to buy some souvenirs, but I noticed that an elderly woman with a stroller kept following us. I was so scared. When my husband picked up an item, she said, “Are you going to buy it or not? If not, put it back.” So we stopped shopping and left the store immediately.

That was a really uncomfortable experience.

Someone needs to tell their abuelita that it’s ok for people to come into the store just to browse. Same thing happened to me that happened to others. An elderly woman using a walker watched my every move from the door to inside the store. When I picked something up to look at it closely, she said “put it back if you’re not going to buy it.” Awful experience.

Just here to echo the sentiments of others. An elderly woman followed us around and thoroughly looked at my stroller on our way out the store.

It was extremely awkward and uncomfortable. I will gladly take my business elsewhere. Unbelievable.

I've been a past customer at Mi Casa es Mi Casa, but my recent experience in October left me feeling unwelcome and uncomfortable. The senior-aged saleswoman followed me closely around the store, making it difficult to browse freely. While browsing their ceramic gifts (which inconveniently have price tags hidden underneath), the saleswoman looked me up and down and then made an accusatory remark about watching my every move. This ruined the shopping experience entirely.I defended myself in Spanish for a moment but then decided it wasn't worth the stress. I ended up leaving quickly and finding the gifts I needed elsewhere in Old Town with much better customer service including a welcoming attitude.

Honestly I am pretty understanding when it comes to “you break it you buy it” however when they place merch on the side walk and not even let you touch or admire the merch. And the owner is extremely rude and not welcoming at all why even bother be in the customer service business. Go leave your money to a business that actually appreciate your purchase, so many shops in San Diego that are actually welcoming.

I love old town and going into the shops to support businesses. I was so excited to purchase a couple bracelets for my friend and I until I noticed I was being followed and stared down like a hawk by an older lady. I’m really disappointed to write this but being followed around the store and accused of not putting something back broke my heart. The old lady that goes by "Italia" I’m not sure if I heard her right was extremely disrespectful to my friend and I. As a Latina, I hate to say this but it be your own people.

Open late, they make ice cream creations to order. You can sit indoors or outdoors. Standard Cold Stone menu.

This little shop with a cute clever name is a must stop. They have a ton of cute things and souvenirs. It reminds me of why I love being Mexican and I love that people of other races enjoy our culture.
