There are so many restaurants on this street I had a hard time choosing. But I'm glad I went in. The server/bartender was friendly and helpful. The tortillas - both corn and wheat - were amazing. The gourmet "queso taco" was sooooo good. The fish taco was not fishy at all. Would have preferred not deep fried but still delist. Tomorrow is taco Tuesday and I'll probably go back.

It was around 4 and other bars in the area were pretty full. We could see the patio from the street and it wasn't too busy so we came in and asked to be seated outside which there was no problem at all. We ordered a pitcher of margaritas for $28 and some nachas. The nachas is a small bowl of fancy homemade nachos drenched in salsa, I personally enjoyed them but the portion is small. We shared it among 3 people to snack on but it would definitely be a good snack for one or two. Margaritas were tasty and refreshing but not overly strong.

Great tacos, everything was very fresh. The tortillas and salsas are all made by hand. Very possibly the best tacos we had on our trip to California. Ask for the habanero salsa! Samantha, the manager, was our server/bartender. She was lovely. Our drinks were delicious and she was so funny and sweet. Made for a wonderful last night of our trip. Definitely a must visit location in downtown San Diego.

Absolutely fantastic corn tortillas! Very tasty tacos. Kind and forthcoming service. Nice ambiance. A little on the night club side, but if you get there early, it feels like a normal restaurant. Good playlist if you like the 90ies.
