Overall, we enjoyed the food and the casual atmosphere. We would highly recommend people to give it a try.

Small , food is flavorful bun rieu and bun bo hue are recommended 👌

Bun bo Hue and Bun hen is very good but remember to ask them not put spicy, it was too spicy for me.
Another food are sometimes this sometimes that but average is ok, good price.

Absolute hidden gem among the myriad of other Viet restaurants in the city. Known for their Bún Bò Huế, this place has been around for decades now and still one of the best. The food is still quite affordable around $13 a bowl these days. They are also cash only.

They provide nice catering sizes as well for many of their dishes which has been a great way to bring some good food for potlucks. Although you will have to bring your own pot for the soup based dishes.

The atmosphere is very reminiscent of visiting your old grandma's house. They're always blasting loud Vietnamese music and playing clips of Viet food being prepared on the TV really bringing a nostalgic atmosphere to older times in Vietnam.

I had the spicy beef soup It was excellent, top quality. You have to taste it to believe it. I also had the fried chicken wings . This is a hidden gem of San Diego.

Good BBH, a decent sized portion that leaves me feeling full every time, and only accepts cash. It's a nice small place, but definitely feels like the building needs a major upgrade/remodel. But service is great and they have TV on featuring Vietnamese culture.

When I say they have the best Vietnamese coffee, I mean it. Sometimes we go just for that. Their food is not your typical banh mi and pho, but more regional. We usually get their chicken wings which are so flavorful and crunchy. We usually rotate through the bun cha ca, bun rieu, com hen dac biet, and the chao hen depending on our mood. Then we wash it down with a cafe su da and a nuoc chanh. The owner is super friendly. The restaurant is pretty small and it is cash only, but so worth it.

I really like their food, they are so flavorful. Even though I only tried bún bò Huế and it was delicious. They have good selections of food to choose from. Definitely will come back again.
