The original Miguels. The food, atmosphere, and service is great. It is an iconic Mexican restaurant with several delicious dishes at a very reasonable price. Highly recommend, but must say parking is a nightmare.

It’s hard to find better Mexican food than at any of the taco shops in San Diego, and this is no exception. But when you want to eat at a full-service restaurant instead of takeout, Miguel’s is great. Friendly fast professional service, good food, and they start you off with good ole chips and salsa (both traditional red and cheese salsa). Upstairs outdoor patio is perfect when the weather’s nice (most of the time). Lots of gluten-free options and they’re all labeled.

Such a beautifully decorated restaurant! cozy and welcoming restaurant! Our server Cesar was extremely attentive and friendly. Suggested Carne Verde and we loved it. Tender pork, tangy/delicious green salsa. The rice and the beans were yummy! freshly made with quality ingredients. Tortillas made from scratch daily! Definitely recommended!
