I absolutely loved working with MIHO! As a planner, it's such a relief to partner with a catering team that’s not only incredibly professional but also just on it from start to finish. The food was truly delicious—elevated, flavorful, and beautifully presented—and their attention to detail is second to none.
Rachel was my main point of contact during planning, and she was an absolute gem: responsive, thoughtful, and always one step ahead. On the day-of, the service team was top notch—friendly, polished, and efficient.
MIHO is definitely one of the more premium catering options in San Diego, but in my experience, they are absolutely worth the investment. Their food and service quality are unmatched, and I’d happily recommend them to any couple looking for a standout experience.

TLDR: MIHO is the most unethical company I've ever worked with. They stole $23k from us and refuse to help us. I wish I didn't have to write this review, but I have no other choice at this point. I would encourage you to avoid this company at all costs.
I've waited 4 years to write this review in the hopes MIHO would do the right thing, but sadly they've chosen again and again to act unethically. We purchased over $23k of catering services, and our wedding was postponed and then cancelled due to COVID. We paid $23k with NO SERVICES provided. We asked MIHO for a partial refund, to which they offered to give us back $2k (they said this was within their "ethos", seriously). I then tried to sell the credit at a discount to a couple in need, which they refused (because it wasn't within their "ethos"). I then tried to transfer the credit to an amazing local 401(c)(3) organization, to which they originally agreed but then have been unresponsive.

MIHO helped us with our wedding catering over three days. MIHO, Sam, Rachel, and Rosemary were amazing to work with. They were able customize the catering for three different events and were super helpful when our venue kitchen wasn't able to support the needs of the event. The entire team was so kind and helpful throughout the planning process, and the day-of execution and food was awesome. Our guests raved about the food all weekend and having MIHO there was definitely a highlight. We'd highly recommend them for any event!

MIHO was hands down the best (and first) decision we made when planning our wedding. I worked so closely with Samantha and her and her team exceeded our expectations by MILES. I leaned on Samantha and her team for advice, support, and inspiration as I was unsure of what I wanted and what was possible when we started the planning process. Not only was MIHOs food an 11/10, the network or vendors they provided made it so the teams worked efficiently and collaborated to create the best wedding possible. The level of professionalism and dedication to our wedding made us feel like we were the only project they were working on. Between family dynamics and inevitable last minute issues, Samantha made sure I was entirely unaware of anything other than the positive and exciting aspects of wedding planning. I would recommend MIHO to anyone planning a wedding or event — they are the BEST!

Does not take his business seriously and doesn’t seem to care about his customers - from personal experience. I’d give customer service 0 stars if I could. Everyone that I worked with on their team was so professional and helpful, specifically Lindsey. She was so thoughtful throughout the planning process and really stuck to our proposed budget. In terms of the event itself, the food, cocktails and service were all amazing. The decor and layout of our venue 100% matched my vision, and the creative touches Lindsey and her team added really made the event memorable and fun. I will absolutely work with MIHO for all of our future events!
