Had a reservation (which was confirmed) and when I showed up, there was no one at the restaurant. I few others were waiting too stating the same thing. Never got in, staff never showed.
I waited forever for the good sushi to be available. Just repetitive basic rolls. After waiting and waiting for the actual good sushi to show up, I was told that my time was over... 🤣
We were seated near the end of the revolving sushi so there was barley any plates for us to take. Or it was only imitation crab. They should have the track reverse so everyone gets a chance to get food. My friend and I would sit there with 0 food way to often and then ended up taking stuff we didn't even want just because we were hungry. I'm also part of the mikami loyalty club and the worker put my number in wrong and couldn't fix it. So that was over 100 points ($10 off) I didn't receive. They were also out of Japanese beer at a Japanese restaurant
experience was not fun and not enjoyable. Been here before and service was great but this time it was not a good experience
I used to love this place but I think it's under new management or something. It's very very VERY loud, the sushi is ok but they charge you if you don't eat all of your rice!! I think that's crazy. The staff seemed irritable and the AYCE is hardly with the price considering what's offered. It's too bad, I used to love this spot
very nice

The restaurant was very clean and nice atmosphere. We picked the all you can eat option. The food available was only ok. Not bad but not great. Food from the menu has better options which you can still order separately but even those were only mediocre. The staff is very nice but a bit slow. The drinks were also mediocre and they were out of Sapporo and Kirin and various other items on the drinks menu.

We've been here a number of times and have absolutely loved it. This last time was not enjoyable. The conveyor belt was empty for the majority of the time, they were reluctant to accommodate an allergy, and the staff seemed like they were bothered by our presence. I'm bummed. I know it's coming under new ownership, so I hope the new owners can bring back the fun atmosphere.

Overall a great spot. I believe you have to make a reservation, which we did so getting a table was easy. Overall a good selection of foods and sushi. Food was good and I’d go back again for sure. If I was looking for the best, highest quality sushi in San Diego would this be the spot, no. But if your looking for a good lunch/dinner spot go check it out.

Food great, waitress was great.... however the manager on duty needs some custom service etiquette classes . A lecture on hitting the yellow button was pretty unnecessary and asked if we needed anything , than he did not take any plates and lectured us on food waste. Are drinks and are ordered food had not even come at that point he really ruined our vibe so we finished up and left and had to cancel one of our orders because it still had not shown up yet and he tried to bring it back out to us. We also all visibly saw him yelling at the kitchen.10112024@5pm

We had a really good time, customer service was great, and my daughter had fun. The only thing is that there's a little variety of sushi.

Disappointed because we wanted the revolving sushi experience but they only offered all you can eat and a la carte. The staff was friendly but the vibe was lame especially for a Saturday night. Sushi was decent and so was the price. Lastly, the bathrooms were disgusting. Toilet paper all over the floor but oddly enough there was none left in dispensers. Not the best experience-definitely had higher expectations.
Limited sushi offers on conveyor. Quality was fair. But not worth coming back for the price.
Sushi is good but the rest of the food is not (tofu ramen the noodles, chicken teriyaki no taste). I'm not sure how this restaurant still open. I rather eat at Tajima Noodles it's cheaper.
My family did the All You Can Eat special. Fairly standard, but good quality, rolls on the conveyor, with a few creative offerings. The more creative rolls are reserved for the special order menu which was not included. Some good sides (gyoza, edamame, miso soup, etc) are included in the AYCE, but unless everyone in your party is going to eat 8-9 plates, you'll probably want to go the a la carte route.
