Grab a dozen of wings from OB noodles house across the street, order a flight here, sit down, people watch, pet dogs that walk by, enjoy the breeze. Best. Spot. In. Town.
Great place to just hava a beer!
This is absolutely the worst beer spot in OB and maybe the worst brewery in San Diego. Seriously, go to Kilowatt instead, or one of the other dozen breweries or bars in the area.
Went on a bar crawl around Ocean Beach, and this was by far the absolute worst. The beers suck. The only one that sounded good was a cream ale that was seasonal so I couldn’t try it. But yeah, terrible beer. Go literally anywhere else.
Hop Cloud is my favorite beer... very cool place.
Stopped by to grab some beers in the 4 x 6 pack for $30 deal that they run on Mondays! Really delicious beer and an awesome deal. Seems like a good atmosphere in there too, and very friendly service. Great spot.
Great beer with a great location. I had a Mexican style lager. It's nice getting out and seeing the wildlife that is OB.
Back about seven years later. Same spot. Different beer. Definitely a good hang. And tasty beers.

I don't get the hype. The beer was meh. The food was bad (fish was bland didn't seem fully cooked). The staff was OK but just seemed like they were shuffling customers along and didn't engage with us after we ordered
This is a great find in the area. Located on a corner crowded neighborhood, they did a great job combining indoor and outdoor. Sit at one of the window tables and people watch or enjoy the indoors. All dog friendly. Bartender was very nice and helpful! Good beer and comfortable atmosphere. Best stop in the area. Especially for dog owners.

Love Mike Hess! Bummer though..Just stopped in at 9:53 PM to take advantage of the $30 case this week and was turned away. “Register already closed out”…bad business if you are supposed to be open until 10 PM.
