Mikes red tacos is by far the BEST birria restaurant chain in San Diego….love the food, the service and the restaurant is really nice and clean inside. The ONLY downside is, is the size of the dining area. It’s quite small but they make it work. The food is so good, I’m willing to compromise. Compared to other places? Some of the best “chain” tacos you’ll find. The flavor is solid, portions are generous, and they hit the spot when you’re craving tacos without overthinking it. Service is quick and consistent, making it an easy go-to when you want something reliable and tasty. Definitely worth a stop if you’re in the area and craving casual tacos that punch above typical chain quality.

solid place i keep coming back to. honestly underwhelmed by the cali burrito but the quesadilla is yum so i recommend that. a bit pricey but the food always comes out so fast it hits the spot.
