The two dishes I ordered was ok alittle on the bland side to me it lacked flavor for this type of dishes compared to other Chinese spots that I've been to and tried

Another hiding Chinese restaurant I haven’t tried was just around the corner. The first thing that caught my eye was the Roast Duck ?, although dry, I was looking for the sauce for it but there was none. My main go to was crispy friend noodles , I got the combination one , the combo was great but didn’t see much vegetables in it. My favorite that evening was the beef chow fun. I’m not a fan of fat noodles but this one ☝️ was good. Overall the food was great! I would like to try the other recipes. Go there and and bring your friends to try ?

Met friends for dinner at Minh Ky on a Monday at 6pm, had the place all to ourselves. Ordered a bunch of dishes but my favorites were the Fried Rice, the Dumpling and Wonton Noodle Soup, and the Fried Chicken. The roast duck was tasty, just wished it had more meat and some sauce to it. I will definitely be back, great to have a solid Chinese spot nearby, gonna be go to spot for takeout.

We were seated immediately after walking in and our orders were taken within a few minutes. We ordered the combination big rice noodle soup, bbq pork fried rice, walnut shrimp and roast duck. The soup and fried rice came out first: 10/10 for both, delicious, simple, would order again. The walnut shrimp came out next: 5/10, shrimp was a little undercooked and absolutely smothered in mayonnaise, it wasn't awful but we did have to scrape off a lot of mayonnaise. We were done eating the other food by the time the duck came out: 6/10, it was just ok, kind of overcooked, my friends didn't finish it. The friend that recommended this restaurant admitted they were off their game today so I would probably give them another shot.

Stir-fried shrimp noodles are delicious, but a bit wet and the serving size is a bit large
The porridge is delicious but a bit thick. If it has green beans, it's great

I absolutely love this place and have been going for years. Great food for a reasonable price. Minh Ky is probably my favorite restaurant in general. It is certainly my favorite Vietnamese restaurant in Little Saigon, which is a high bar as there are many great spots in the area.
