Good food and service

The recommendations and service by Rachel were spot on! The truffle Mac and Cheese and the Parmesan Fries with their homemade dipping sauce were outstanding... my husband had the No Name burger and it was delicious... a little out of the way but well worth it! The local beer on tap that we selected- Hazy IPA hit the spot... we would definitely recommend this hole in the wall to anyone looking for a delicious bite to eat after a long day at the zoo or after hanging out in the city all day! Food spot on, service exceptional and ambiance low key and local... a gem! 5 stars for the mood, food and Rachel!

We love mishmash whenever in barriologan after art shows or just further south in SD. Owner is very kind and there is consistent food quality. The Cubano or harrissa chicken is my favorite. Can't wait for them to open again!

Maybe because it was a Friday. But food was delicious unfortunately the bad customer service was the deal breaker. The server was not only rude but also seemed annoyed by everyone and everything.

I wish I had taken a picture of my food before I tried it because once I bit into my ribs I was not going to stop! Sorry, no photo! We were greeted when we walked in and told we could sit where we liked and that you order at the bar when ready. The place has a funky punk rock vibe with concrete floors, pin up girls and vintage cars on the walls. The food was killer, everything we ordered was excellent. Ribs were crispy on the outside, but fell of the bone and came with a refreshing pineapple slaw and elote corn side. The hangover fries were loaded with rib meat, eggs and all the right fixins. My daughter said her burger was great with a garlic kick. We heard they are closing and hope they find a way to reopen ASAP as those were the best ribs I've ever had at a restaurant!

Just ok, fries were terrible bland soggy oily fries, burger was just fine. I got the brisket sandwich it comes with brisket mac and cheese and slaw. The best part was the brisket the slaw had no flavor just wet cabbage and the mac n cheese part was bland and no cheese flavor!!Maybe I came on an off day but I won’t come back.

This place was a great find. Burger was exceptional, the ambiance was great, and the service was also very good. Great place to try out.

Every Saturday night we head over for the smoked brisket. Never disappoints. The bechamel Mac & Cheese is delicious. The slaw is fine--it won't blow your hair back but it pairs nicely with the brisket. Decent draft beer selection but if you're into sangria, give their homemade version a try (it comes in their house bottle.). We prefer the white sangria which is tasty. From our seats at the bar we got some great views of the sunset.

A great little neighborhood restaurant. Unlike the areas closer to downtown San Diego, this area is very nice with clean streets, and no homeless tents or related smells. There was plenty of nearby free parking. The restaurant is small with indoor and outside seating, and is spotless. The service is very friendly. We got the Smoke Out Saturdays: Al Pastor Ribs plate and 1/2lb Brisket a la carte. Everything was excellent! The sides of Grilled Street Corn and Pineapple Pico Slaw were the perfect compliment to the delicious meal.Parking: Plenty of nearby free street parking.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible parking, entrance, and seating.

My wife found this place online cuz she knew I was going to be down near Barrio Logan. They have a good service for to go food and some nice seating inside also. My wife and my grandson both liked the burger and veggie burger but my sandwich was the Cuban sandwich and I give it 5 plus stars! I thought I was watching the movie Chef all over again and getting the real deal! Call Tito Fuentes and tell him to set up his group on the sidewalk out front!

Overpriced for basic burgers and wings. Smelled like a gas station bathroom in there. Would not recommend
