Great time, minus the upstairs being closed for an event. ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ we just wanted to check out the view, we didnt plan on staying. Wish they had let us look for 2 minutes without charging $$... event hadn't even started, but I get it. 🫶🖖
Was good years ago, was excellent now!
Garbage
Mission Brewing is hands down an East Village staple!! If you haven’t wandered past this spot on your way to a Padres game—or better yet, stopped in—you’re seriously missing out. Tucked just steps away from Petco Park, this brewery nails the perfect pre-game (or post-game) vibe.
Game day at Mission Brewing? A win before the first pitch. They’re serving up daily draft beer specials and 4-packs to go—so you can sip now and stock up for later.
And let’s talk about Jorge, the beer tender who makes this place even better. His genuine hospitality and deep knowledge of every beer on tap is unmatched. Whether you’re a hop-head or just beer-curious, Jorge’s got you.
Bonus points: the dog-friendly patio and family-friendly atmosphere make it feel like your coolest friend’s backyard—but with way better beer.
Whether you’re a local or just cruising through, make sure Mission Brewing is on your East Village hit list. Padres game or not, it’s always worth a stop.
Great Brewery. Great place to go after a Padres game. Walking distance from the Petco Park. Fantastic atmosphere. Great beers. Craft beer lovers should check out this Brewery.
San Diego is filled with great breweries but Mission Brewery is definitely one of the best!!
Best Padres pregame spot downtown! Staff is friendly, beers are top notch, and deals are on fire!!!
Cool place with great beer. I work from here sometimes and it's mellow but fun. Shout out to Kaitlyn and Jorge for the good service and fun convos!
Best place in town by far!! I got married here and still come back for great beer and great company. Jorge is awesome!
Very cool space. Appropriately named the church they've even kept old pews to sit in. Huge selection of beers. Lots too take home as well. Just an overall cool spot

Great beer from one of the oldest breweries in San Diego! The live music events upstairs are awesome.
I would avoid this place. When I walked past a few years past, the area was filled with homeless encampments with the smell of urine overwhelming. Pigeons were eating the hops outside, amidst the waste left by transients. I didn’t go inside, but based on my first impression, I’d recommend steering clear.
I have never visited this brewery and planned on adding it to our tour stops, however after reading some of the reviews, I think not, it's unfortunate, I would not like my clients to cross into unchartered territory, plus what would that say about my business. Sorry fellas, clean up and give me a call. It would have been a guaranteed 23 seats filled.
This place is the bomb! If you want good beer and great service this is the place! Jorge and Irving are incredibly and will help you make the best selection. The old mission lager, Saison and strawberry Mojito are the bomb! Don't miss this place! It's worth the drive and time!
Solid beers from a San Diego staple.
