Excellent. I ordered the beef plate, the chicken shawarma sandwich, hummus, baba ghanoush, and fries. Everything was delicious. The place was very clean and the owner was gracious. Highly recommend.

Top notch "cult-favorite". Each dish is so well orchestrated. The flavors are perfect. I love it here.

Yay! I loved the experience here. It's kind of like a hole in the wall. It's deeper into this small plaza I would never stop by otherwise. We were happily and warmly greeted when we came in. We tried the combo plate (beef and chicken) and the falafel sandwich (which you may know of more familiarly as a wrap). The food was delicious and in huge portions! I somehow managed to finish my order but I really shouldn't have! I loved the classic music they were playing too.

Amazing little place in Clairemont. Owner is extremely friendly, helpful, and skilled at authentic lebanese cuisine. We ordered small a fattoush salad, chicken shawarma sandwich with fries and a side of baba ghanoush. The quality was very good and the ingredients were fresh! The salad was filled with nice fresh herbs, sumac, radish, tomatoes, and lettuce. Only thing missing was some crispy pita chips in it! The falafel was crispy and the sandwiches was exactly what I have been looking for, with the thin lebanese pita filled with yummy additions in the sandwich with extra tahini sauce. Do me a favor and support and local business you won't regret it!!

The food and consistency of customer service is way above expectations for a small unassuming restaurant. The food is fresh and you can tell the pride they take in how they prepare your meal. Absolutely delicious . I feel as if I am invited into someone's home when I dine in . When I order take out they go to great lengths to ensure your meal is prepared fresh and not sitting around. My last order they called me to see if I was picking up soon as they " wanted to make sure your food is fresh". I am so glad they have been able to weather the ups and downs of Covid and are still around to provide the most delicious food.

had a chicken shawarma sandwich. The bread was not fresh. the chicken shawarma is not cut from a skewer. it's more of seasoned ( hardly any seasoning) then cooked on the stove, then frozen and finally microwaved.the falafel was dry. there was a lot of microwave activities seen in the background. I also had the kenafe. The kenafe was straight up and clearly old. it was at least two days old. the crust was soggy . it was also microwaved. I've had many kenafes through out my life. the chef tried to give me an excuse about how the kenafe was different because appearantly the rest of the world eats a different kind of kenafe. I figured for the high price I was layi8for food and the reviews, I'd come across some authentic Arabic food. I was disappointed. the fries were obviously from a frozen bag. I'm not sure what is fresh. If you had some real Arabic food you'd know this is not authentic Arabic food. It is probably cooked in a standard for the gringos.

Love this place! The food is delicious and reasonably priced, and the owners are so kind. We usually get the falafel sandwich with cucumber yogurt on the side, chicken shawarma plate, and the fatoosh salad.

This place is amazing! We came in starving and they did not disappoint! We ordered the beef shawarma rice with cucumber yoghurt salad, falafel, chicken sandwich roll, and kanafe. Service was great and the manager was very welcoming and genuine

If you're looking for authentic Lebanese food look no farther then Mr Falafel. What a local gem this is to our community. The owners are the cherry on the cake, service with a smile and welcoming conversation. We LOVE the hummus and falafel. I mix the hummus with the garlic sauce sometimes. SO good! The babaganoush is so good too! All the plates are tasty truly. Try it out and I promise it'll become a family favorite for you too.

This is a hole in the wall spot but it's busy for a reason! Everything tasted super fresh and delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed my chicken shawarma plate with garlic sauce. I chose hummus and baba ganoush as my sides. It was so good, I saved my leftovers so I could eat it for dinner and enjoy it once more. The staff is really friendly. Someone even apologized for my wait but I wasn't waiting long nor minded at all! I highly recommend.

Yum! Friendly staff, call-ahead order was ready on time and yummy food! If you get fries for take-out they’re better if you toast again at home.
