My wife and I were on vacation and randomly picked this place. I got the fish and chips, with some added shrimp on the side. FRIED TO PERFECTION! Definitely a treat.
Love this place. I’ll miss it when I leave. It’s the best location right by the water and the seafood is fresh

Let me be clear I'm a SD native and wish our city the best but COME ON! Over priced mediocre food (clam chowder had zero flavor) and the service and atmosphere was sad. NOT A SINGLE SMILE FROM STAFF, which therefore sets the atmosphere. Your background should be the birds and boats but its staff auctioning off food yelling numbers with miserable faces. I just came back from the HOMER SPIT which has an identical restaurant to Mitch's and it was superior in all ways mostly the smiling girl who was at the register. LAME to see a SD gem just be so off and unimpressive. I'd head to Point Loma Seafoods.

The perfect waterside seafood spot! We had to wait a bit to order, but the fresh fish was worth it. Delicious iced tea and fried shrimp platter.

Food was good- Crab cakes were a little soggy. It was tough to find seating and there was bird poop on the plastic attached to the tabletop.

Ordered what I would call a Traditional Fish and Chips dinner. Awesome taste and great portion size. Will definitely order again. Before and after shot of a great meal!!!

Went in for breakfast. Great deal, greatreat staff, and the food was wonderful. I had a breakfast burrito with bacon. This place is great for breakfasts, and afterward, you can't beat their seafood. I particularly like their fish and chips.

📍fisherman stew: The seafood is rich in ingredients, the soup is rich, the taste is sweet, and the overall performance is good. The bread that comes with it is on the hard side.
📍Grilled yellowtail: The fish is very fresh and grilled to perfection. The accompanying dipping sauce and lemon make the grilled fish richer in taste.
📍Tacos: I ordered octopus and opah flavors. The fillings are rich, but the sauce is a little too much, and you can’t taste the original flavor of the seafood.
This time, it was a great experience to dine at an outside table and enjoy the view of the harbor while enjoying the food.
