Great fresh seafood! We ordered the grilled octopus, the steamed clam + mussels, ceviche, and fish n’ chips.First everything you can tell is fresh- something I truly appreciated. The grilled octopus was perfectly cooked and comes with a delicious salad. One of the best octopus plates I’ve had. The steamed clam + mussels were also delicious- it actually reminded me of one of my favorite meals I had on a visit to Portugal. Fish n’chips were also very good.Ceviche was meh. I would recommend not getting this. If they could take it off their menu, even better because the other things they have are so great.

Ironically, the best food we had from this seafood restaurant was the BBQ burger which barely had any BBQ sauce on it. (I think there was four times as much mayo as BBQ.) The fried shrimp and fish were decent, but the fried calamari was rubbery and the crab cakes were incredibly mushy. The fries were also just okay.Prices were about what I would expect for a restaurant like this other than the $3.25 for an 8 oz bottle of pop, which seemed a little overboard. The decorations inside were pretty cool. I enjoyed the old pictures of big catches especially. It's very much a restaurant which is centered around sportfishing, which makes sense given the other businesses around it.The restaurant was also packed and never seemed to lack for business, which made finding a seat a little difficult. All in all, it was a decent experience, but not a stand out, unfortunately.Parking: When we went, parking was $2.00/hour. There are 3 free parking spaces up to an hour, which may work for some people.

So glad that I finally visited Mitch’s Seafood! I don't get down to this area much, but decided after returning from a recent trip to check it out since it’s so close to the airport. It’s location from the street and parking lot is not really obvious. It sits behind a fishing charter company with an unassuming entrance on the side. Indoor dining is not that prevalent but there’s plenty of outdoor seating along the wraparound deck. I can't imagine not sitting outside here unless it’s unusually cold. Stunning views of the surrounding marina makes for such a lovely setting. The staff I encountered were all so friendly and genuine. One even complimented my t-shirt. Order at the counter and they give you a number; food is brought out to you. There is an impressive selection of local craft beers on tap. Served in a flimsy plastic cup that can be awkward to manage. I ordered the “Mixed Seafood Platter” and really enjoyed it. Comes with a crab cake, calarmari, fish and shrimp with fries & slaw. I have to say though, the crab cake should be renamed “crumb cake”. No discernible lumps and quite the disappointment. Probably the first time I didn't finish a crab cake on my plate. Everything else was excellent though and such abundant portions.

“The location of Mitch’s is truly spectacular; it’s hard to compete with its seaside setting and the picturesque views of boats bobbing in the ocean. I’m a big fan of fish and chips, so naturally, that was my dish of choice. Unfortunately, I found myself disappointed this time. The batter on the fish was overly oily and lacked the desirable crispiness. I genuinely believe that with some adjustments, the quality of this dish could be significantly improved. As for the French fries, they were fairly standard. I think there’s a great opportunity here to innovate and create a unique fries recipe that stands out. Overall, while the setting is unbeatable, I feel that the culinary execution could be elevated to match.

This was suggested to us by every local we talked to as being a must for seafood. We are from denver, CO and seeing the actual board that brought the actual fresh AF seafood we were eating was absolutely delightful.10/5 recommend

Being from New England, I love to find a place like this that reminds me of home. Great fried seafood platters and the crab sandwich was definitely the size of 2 sandwiches. Great deal and waterfront seating to watch the boats.
