Great place in San Diego, CA to buy Japanese food and drinks and to eat at. Been coming to this store for years. Just wish this store would take EBT CARDS like they need too

I love the Tonkotsu ramen inside from the Santouka restaurant. I get it to go and it's packaged perfectly to eat. Bring cash to give a tip. For Mitsuwa the grocery part, I recommend the candy, snacks, drinks, and bakery goods sections. Anyone adventurous should go and wander around those sections and buy something that looks good to them. Or see what people around you are picking out. I keep finding new delicious foods, drinks, and treats. For the cost conscious, there are infinite types of excellent home ramen that is cheap and better than anything you could get in a typical grocery store. The whole store is also great for gifts. I send the ramen and snacks as gifts to people in other parts of the country and they love it too.
