I ordered the Aka ramen, and was pretty disappointed. The tonkatsu broth was watery, noodles were ok, and it came with 2 very small pieces of tough, under cooked pork belly. The egg was very overcooked, hard and chalky. For some reason there was also raw cabbage, carrots, zucchini, and broccoli in the ramen, none of which are described in the menu description. Also no pickled ginger. Very strange. The service was good though, probably the only plus.

We are from Florida. The owner was amazing, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was awesome. Back to the owner though..we toasted a Saki shot and he made our experience very welcoming. True a great owner and proud of his restaurant.

Having lived in Manhattan for almost 15 years I struggled to find consistently great sushi -Gari and Seki are amazing for special occasions. This place never missed. Not once. I stick to nigiri for the most part. After being back east for many months I returned this week for lunch and sat at the counter. Fatty Tuna, Toro, and a special seared fish they offered on the house. Remarkable. They also gave me a cucumber and octopus salad -like bonchon, that was incredible.

My wife and I ate here for dinner. We got the Del Mar roll, BSCR, calamari appetizer, and miso soup. Super good! Friendly staff, plenty of parking, food came out in a timer manner, super pleased and will come back again! Arigatou Gozaimasu! Oishi desu yo!
