Also got the wow sandwich and acai bowl which were both perfect.
My first coffee in 2026, the coffee shop was not even open, and the very nice ladies were still in opening preps,but gave me a delicious cappuccino and a morning croissant

The women who work here are so sweet and their food is delicious. They have a beautiful variety of breakfast and lunch options and everything is so delicious. I don't even live in San diego but whenever I am here on vacation I will always go to this beautiful cafe.

I love small businesses that do it right First day of vacay and went here for breakfast- Got a banana protein smoothie (amazing) and avocado toast (amazing). The young ladies working had great attitudes & made great food!!! Thanks for a fresh start to my vacation. Keep up the good work!!!❤️

I've been staying locally in SD downtown since Monday and have been here daily - getting their Americano and Flat White everytime. Contrary to some previous reviews, I can confirm that my experience with the staff was incredibly pleasant, they were attentive, friendly, and chatty (in a good way of course). Chiefy Cafe is a hidden gem! Genuinely one of the best breakfast sandwiches I’ve ever had. This one had a delicious pesto mayo. The Açaí was excellent and incredibly refreshing.
