The menu and drink experience looked really fantastic at this place so we were eager to eat here. Our wait service did not disappoint, he was amazing. The food looked incredible but fell short unfortunately. My sauce was runny, the spaghetti was bland...the steak was somewhat chewy with very light seasoning...not what was expected for a $95 plate. Kids mac n cheese was yummy. Desert and apps were liked. We tried several of the specialty cocktails which did not disappoint. The bar atmosphere was awesome, especially for a date night. We wouldn't eat again but the service and appearance of everything was terrific.

Underrated steakhouse in SD!
Service was excellent. We enjoyed our pre dinner cocktails. Solid selection of choices. I had a hard time choosing which one.
We had the filet mignon and the cacio de pepe with some red and white wine. Both dishes were outstanding. The brussel sprouts were some of the best we have ever had.
IMO the mark of a well run restaurant is not only the quality of the high end dishes like the steak, but also the lower priced entrees. Moe’s came through on all aspects of our dining experience. Would definitely go back.

Let me just say that the service was EXCELLENT and the vibes were amazing. Stepping into Moe’s felt so classy and upscale. Although the inside was definitely a bit loud. Our server Lorraine was super sweet, funny, and professional. Some of the best service I’ve received. Unfortunately, the food is where I felt they were lacking. It was fairly expensive and I didn’t feel like the food met my expectations. The duck wasn’t very good, it was very salty and had an odd taste. I don’t recommend it. The pasta was not as flavorful as I would have hoped. The steaks were cooked as asked and tasted good. Overall, if I do come back I think I’ll stick to the steaks. Thanks again Lorraine!

I ordered the ribeye steak and it was perfect — cooked exactly right, tender, and full of flavor. I didn’t add a single seasoning or sauce because it didn’t need anything at all. Just a truly excellent steak prepared with skill. I’ll definitely be coming back whenever I'm in San Diego.

Good food. To dark and noisy for an old man like me. I had calamari, chaser salad and white bean soup. All very good. Service was good.

Omg so we went for Happy Hour aka social hour… and wow the bacon jam meatballs is the best thing on the HH menu, we also tried the wagyu sliders awesome, and the steak skewers over some mashed potatoes, melts in your mouth… our server Bailey was so nice and great conversation. We are locals and we will be back!!!

Stepping into this restaurant is like stepping back to a time where the guests were treated with care and respect, something you don’t find in many restaurants nowadays.
We Sat at the bar it was an awesome, the bar tenders are professional as well as attentive, patrons were friendly and everyone seemed to be having a great time.
We ordered salads and meatballs off the social hour menu as well as a charcuterie board and the butter cake off the regular menu, everything was fantastic.
Drinks, I ordered a Sazerac and my wife ordered a paper plane, both of them, exactly what we were looking for.
Loved the experience!, will be back.

the $50 boneless Prime ribeye it was fantastic I don't know how their hundred-dollar one which could be better. Brussel sprouts were the best I've ever had with saffron all over them. The butter cake was highly recommended not something I would normally order just by the name but I'm glad I did best dessert on the menu. Have the double chocolate cake the second time I was there the cake was dry need a new recipe I think. Definitely need to add something with raspberry next to it.

For three of us we had two steaks, a few sides, drinks, salads. Drinks were great, salads were good, our steaks were overcooked, dry, and unseasoned. We ordered four sides, mashed potatoes were dry and seemed premade, Mac and cheese had zero sauce, brussel sprouts were good, and the green bean casserole had zero flavor. We spent $1,000 for dinner, vibes were good but wouldn’t come back for the food. Food had little to no flavor
