person inside the shop intentionally sitting on his phone ignoring customers when he can 100% hear someone is trying to place an order. then when trying to call the phone inside the shop he refused to answer the phone. had a good experience here once but at this point in time i cannot say the experience here is good at all. I just witnessed him go over and take another customers order. (Edit:) I walked away and someone else walked up and he took their order and made their food. I attempted to walk up again and attempted to order. Waited another 20 minutes and he paid me no attention. The entirety of both times i was sitting there. I genuinely hope this review helps the owner of this establishment realize they need to find better employees because this is absolutely insane.

Food was great under the new management came on taco Tuesday and tried their 1.50 tacos so I tried all of their meats and it was delicious
Had to try the new ownership and it was Taco Tuesday, so... We got a variety of the $1.50 TJ mini tacos (carne asada, carnitas, adobada, and Pollo asado), as well as an order of three rolled tacos with everything, and a side of beans. Generous toppings on the rolled tacos, but the tortillas didn't taste fresh. The beans were tasty, but the texture was so smooth and homogenous that they seemed like they were rehydrated from a bag of bean flakes. My apologies if they were hand made. The tacos were very small (three bites each) with a single tortilla and there wasn't much of a taste difference between all of them. The meat was cubed very small, all were fairly dry, and the carnitas had almost no fatty bits (the best part!). Hard to complain about the price, and they weren't bad at all, I'm just spoiled living in San Diego. The help were very nice and friendly, and they threw in a bag of hot carrots and a jalapeño for free. I had a ham and egg breakfast burrito last week which was also middle of the road, but it's not fair to judge on that simple, fairly plain item. The drive thru is convenient and one of the few in the area, so since I live nearby, I'll probably be back if I need to grab a quick bite on the way somewhere. It's on a busy corner with trucks and busses buzzing right by the few outdoor tables, so we opted to take it home.

So glad they are reopened! I was hungry late tonight and went back for the first time and everything was fantastic. The drive thru attendant gave great customer service. Especially the rice was really good, and the burritos were exactly the style I hope for when I get Mexican food in San Diego. I look forward to next time!

All I have to say is that the taco shop across the street (opposite side) is better 🙏🙏

This place is, in fact, NOT open 24 hours. They're not even open particularly late.
Charged me DOUBLE what I was supposed to pay. Do not come here. Ridiculous.

They charged me a dollar more than the price on the menu. Shrimp quesadilla comes with rice, salsa, onions. Wish there would have been a description, was expecting only shrimp. Decent portion size however. Food was ok. I would give 2 stars but I’ve only tried it once, giving the benefit of the doubt that the other menu items are better. Although I will not return because of the disrespect of the price discrepancy
This place keeps getting worse. They've messed up my order a variety of times, and the majority of times, it's the night shift.
This place has 3.2 starts for a reason. The food has been average at best and usually avoid this place but it was later and I was hungry. I got the California Burrito and man it was DRY! No amount of hot sauce I could put on it helped. Fries were greasy and half cooked. Taco Bell across the street has better food than this place.

I've been there 2 times. The first time, they were out of buns for tortas, so I just left. The second time, I ordered a chicken quesadilla. The menue says $8.50, but they charged $13.41. I spoke to them, and all they said is its 11.50 in the register. So I asked to speak to a manager but there was no manager. Apparently, they don't need a manager. So I asked for a refund, but they couldn't put it back on the card, so they gave me cash. Fine, whatever. Then they couldn't open the register or know how to do a refund on the register, so they gave me back $13.41 that they scrouged up from the tip jar and the back of the store. Have no idea if the food is good unfortunately. Oh and I checked the drive thru menu to see if the prices are different but it still say $8.50.

This place has decreased in quality over the past year since the change in management. Their sopes used to be great now they are like beans on top of cardboard. They never missed now if you say no cheese they just ignore you and make it their own way. Went back to ask for it to be remade they did
