We are visiting from Mexico, and the food at Moment was absolutely delicious. The sushi was one of the best I’ve ever had. The quality of the food is exceptional, but what truly stands out is the extraordinary service. Everyone was incredibly kind and attentive. I made the mistake of ordering a roll without asking about the ingredients, and when it arrived, I realized it had truffle oil, which I really dislike. Without me saying anything or asking for a replacement, a young staff member noticed when I leaned in to smell the sushi and came over to check if everything was okay. I explained that I hadn’t asked about the ingredients and wasn’t a fan of truffle. They replaced it immediately, no questions asked. It was an incredible experience with top-notch service. Highly recommended!

We celebrate my kid 16-year-old birthday there. We love all the food, all the details and atmosphere are great. Here, the wasabi in the Japanese dipping sauce is made from high-quality, genuine ingredients. The desserts are good, too. We love here. Will come back for sure. 👍

Sushi snob checking in here. Used to travel to Japan frequently for work, have had many meals in Michelin star'd sushi restaurants. I can confidently say that Wook and head chef Philip have created a wonderful experience - I'd put them in the upper echelon of sushi restaurants in San Diego easily. I've seen both Wook and Philip at many extremely high end sushi restaurants over many years (shoutout to Ken, IYKYK) and they not only carry on that extreme quality legacy and umami craziness but also bring their own ideas and twists that are perfectly executed. Whether this is a fun family dinner or a date night (sit at the bar for this) you are guaranteed an amazing meal - run, don't walk, to Moment.
