We came here because we wanted to check the place out for a while, so I looked online and it said open . We got there it was closed

Chicken and waffles were pretty good. Didn't really care for the gravy that was on the smothered plate. Definitely a fly problem in the area but it was nice to be able to sit outside on the back patio. They have a couple games around the restaurant to keep you busy while you wait for your food

We went to this place because it had a 4.9 rating on Google. When we drove by i was shocked but happy to see there was no wait. However the curb appeal looked a little dismal. Walking in, it's a little dark and there is a strong unappealing odor that may have been coming from the bathroom?? We chose a table furthest from the bathroom and after a few minutes it was fine. The best part about this place is definitely the food. Every component was so tasty and well seasoned. I ordered the smothered chicken and waffles and my daughter got the regular chicken and waffles. I didn't know mine came with potatoes but after trying one, Im glad it did! The potatoes were delicious and the texture was perfect. The gravy was also great and not heavy or greasy. Its just so damn good. I can't wait to go back again.

Saying this may very well be the best fried chicken in Southern California might not say enough. Perfect execution on the waffles, the crispy bacon, the potatoes, all exactly what you dream of for breakfast. The chicken was perfectly cooked, you could smell the seasoning the second the plate hit the table and it was perfectly balanced with the waffles. True southern comfort food in the heart of Southern California. San Diego must!

This place is so fire!! The chicken and food is so on point and they balance all the seasonings so well ! This chicken is one of the best I’ve had in San Diego !! This place is affordable and for the price you get a lot of food ! Staff are very friendly and attentive to your needs. I got the fried chicken sliders with buffalo and bbq. The sauces are also on point !! If you’re looking for a place that has great food, this place is for you !
